Not transfer related but worth a post. You know Paddy will be advising him well...
I bet Paddy is a laugh on a night out.

Because Pogba's the only other player who we've heavily been linked to. Some people believe that Number 4 is Matuidi, but as of right now, we're linked with Pogba the most.Is there a reason why everyone thinks that Pogba is the fourth player Jose mentioned? It would be a great signing but it feels less realistic than many other potential signings
Hasn't it been confirmed we are in talks with Pogba by a respected ITK on here?
It is, isn't it? really quite nice. That jersey is a beaut.
That's something of a misnomer.
Zidane headbutted an old lady in a cutaway in Family guy so obviously he is more famous than Giggs.
Hope we sign Pogba.
That hardly means anything.Because Pogba's the only other player who we've heavily been linked to. Some people believe that Number 4 is Matuidi, but as of right now, we're linked with Pogba the most.
Nor your grandmother tbf.
Mkhi was linked quite a few times actually, albeit quite fast between it happening/revealed.That hardly means anything.
How many links were there for Bailly and Mkhi ? Practically zero before one was announced and the other had his name on United shirt released prematurely.
No Best?So Zidane has 10 million hits on his managerial career and Giggs has none related to his off-the pitch behaviour and speculations about his coaching role in Man United?
It isn't daft, if anything is daft it's saying that Giggs is as well-known as Zidane. The better comparison would be Beckham, who, despite being an inferior player, is probably better known than Zidane. But Zidane is one of the most famous and marketable football players in history - today it would probably be Pele, Maradona, Zidane, L. Ronaldo, Beckham, Messi and Cristiano.
Giggs had a short spell of fame in the 90's (take reebok ads for example), but he was very soon outshined by Beckham and he never was the marketing face of the team again - after Beckham's departure Rooney and Cristiano stepped up.
If we count his underwhelming international record (not his fault obviously) and the fact that Zidane showed his very best at the Euros and World Cups, we'll see a clearer picture. Most of the World's population doesn't watch or care about the club football, international tournaments are still by far the most popular things in football - and while Giggs never even participated, Zidane won everything and ended his career with a ridiculous Hollywood ending
That hardly means anything.

The roller-coaster ride of muppetry for these megadeals and megastars is the best. So, I suggest you to shed your inhibition & join the fellow mupperts in this mass orgy of shameless muppetry.I'm a muppet with most deals, its just these mega deals that i can't muster any muppetry over.
But i suppose we will pull one of these deals off at some point, the laws of averages have to come into play at some point!.

Yeah we should announce it tomorrow 8 pm UK timeANNOUNCE POGBA!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait for the euros to end so we can sort this deal one way or the other
No way is Giggs known around the globe as widely as Zidane is. His exploits for France ensure that.Meh. A lot of those are Zidane as Madrid's manager.
For instance if you go to page 10 one of them is
Rodriguez Is Important for Real Madrid: Zinedine Zidane - News18
and another is
Will Zinedine Zidane be a success at Real Madrid? | The Front 3 by ...
Giggs and Zidane are equally known and to say one is more known than the other is just daft.
I read that Chelsea are getting close to signing Morata, the main obstacle being the fee Madrid would demand for him. If Chelsea pick up Morata would that not give Madrid the extra funds to purchase Pogba, which then opens the door for Kroos to City as I've read the Kroos respects Guardiola a lot. I'm starting to fear that the Morata signing would cause a domino effect not only harming our chances of signing Pogba (assuming there ever was any chance we could get him) but also strengthening the competion.
I hope the people in charge at United really try to push this signing through as fast as they can because if Madrid make any significant funds (even selling Rodriguez to PSG) might make them feel more financially confident to sign Pogba for a record fee.
I think this is further along than we think, just by the way people involved with the club are talking. Maybe its totally wishful thinking, but they all seem a little smug.
