Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Hope France lose so that our players (Schniderlin and Martial) can get back home quickly. However the real reason I want them to lose is so we can properly pursue Pogba and hopefully snatch him up. Now i know thats wishful thinking but after such a good window already why not wrap it up with Pogba? It may not happen, however i have some optimism.

We were also going to sign Ibrahimovic a long time back but unfortunately we had to wait until the euros finished for him, hopefully the same happens for Pogba.

Off topic but is there any way i can watch the 6:30 show on MUTV after its finished airing?

Everyone on Mutv looks like they're in the the know that something is happening behind the scenes, cheeky smiles on their faces everytime the subject comes up, usually people like Macari are far more reserved, certainly starting to believe we're trying behind the scenes to get this done.
They klnow nothing on MUTV, even Indykaila knows more than them.

I think this is further along than we think, just by the way people involved with the club are talking. Maybe its totally wishful thinking, but they all seem a little smug.

It reminds me of how they were acting around the time we signed Di Maria.

I have been having my doubts today but reading these comments have given me new hope, the life of a transfer muppet eh.

if they come home on monday or friday doesnt really matter

I read that Chelsea are getting close to signing Morata, the main obstacle being the fee Madrid would demand for him. If Chelsea pick up Morata would that not give Madrid the extra funds to purchase Pogba, which then opens the door for Kroos to City as I've read the Kroos respects Guardiola a lot. I'm starting to fear that the Morata signing would cause a domino effect not only harming our chances of signing Pogba (assuming there ever was any chance we could get him) but also strengthening the competion.

I hope the people in charge at United really try to push this signing through as fast as they can because if Madrid make any significant funds (even selling Rodriguez to PSG) might make them feel more financially confident to sign Pogba for a record fee.
If Madrid want him they will bid for him I wouldn't have thought that they have to sell first before they buy. If they choose to balance the books later then they will do that but cash flow wouldn't be the problem and even if it was they could drag it out anyway.

The question at the moment is do Madrid want him and are they prepare to pay what we will because Juve don't want to sell, they may have other targets. Not much of a fuss is being made about the deal in the spanish media.

Kroos told German media about a week ago that he had 4 years on his contract so that should be enough with regards rumours linking back to Bayern.

IndyKalia a man who works at KFC knows more than people who actually work for United :wenger:

Haha. Jeez, that's really what does he does for a living? I guess if I was a lowest of low rent fry-cooks I'd probably go all Walter Mitty on Twitter too.

I don't like these rumours about Kroos possibly interested in going to city. I think our chances at getting Pogba hinge on Madrid not wanting him but with the sale of Morata and Kroos then I cant see any other option but Madrid going for him. I'm a weary muppet today, hope I'm just distorting things.

So...Madrid wants to sell Kroos (why else would HE want to go to Manchester City) so that they can turn around and spend more money than they just got so they pick up a player who some think isn't as good as Kroos.

Does that make sense to you? Come on people. Be logical.

Let's be honest people.

Manchester United is the only team that sees the VALUE of spending 100 million for Paul Pogba. Seriously.

He's immediately the most marketable player on the team. (Not so in Madrid)
He'd be better at his position than anyone else on the team (arguably not the case with Madrid)
Manchester can write off 100 million transfer fee. Madrid? Not so much. At all.

The ONLY roadblock is Juventus.

F... Real Madrid. I won't even get into the fact that Pogba is a dark skinned baller.

They are talking about him on MUTV because that's what people want to hear, I'm sure. That being said, I really want to believe. I do.

Do MUTV normally talk about a transfer target so much? What happened with Di Maria did the also talk about him a lot like he was coming?

You really are going full muppet. I hope for your mental state that we pull it off.

I have faith in Woodmei$ter pulling this one off.

We desperately need a superstar profile player in our team. Every big sports club needs at least one. Real already have several.

Poking the golden bear isn't a good idea.

If it happens it happens. Just a bit strange the way MUTV are acting. Fingers crossed the deal comes off :smirk:

If Pogba stays at Juventus, he still wouldn't be able to get the Madrid move next year as Real will have a transfer ban.

I really think he will make a move this summer.

We can start a new thread about it. I don't think that Best is well-known by the common people, sadly. Although he was one of the first genuine superstars with Beckham-esque behaviour.

Paddy Crerand works for the club, no-one in their right mind would claim he knows what's going on at the club - hell he's still refusing to accept that van Gaal will be given the sack.

Paddy Crerand was the first to say Carrick was offered a new contract no? I remember he broke it on MUTV. Yes the man is becoming a bit loony but he still knows what's going on even if sometimes he doesn't (I hope that makes sense)

Homer Simpson mentioned Giggs in an episode though. Simpsons > Family Guy.

Now there's a proper way to start the derailing of a thread. I don't want to encourage that sort of behaviour but I have to respectfully disagree anyway.

Really hope we sign Pogba.

The Sun can spout so much rubbish and they actually get paid for regurgitating the same bollocks again and again without adding anything really.

Surely the Sun should be banned on this site they are literally the definition of cancer, awful paper.

Don't mean that to offend anyone by the way.
