Griezmann is not a #10. And Jose doesn't play with 2 strikers, and Griezmann can't play as a lone striker.
It makes no sense.
Why would he want to join us?
I never said it was different. I said it would be better to spend that kind of money on a world class attacking player like Griezmann. I would love us to get both, but that won't happen so I would rather we get Griezmann. We can still get a CM as well.
We just bought a very good attacking player and signed another to go along with the one we had in Martial. We are well stocked in the attacking department. it's the midfield that's lagging behind the top teams in the league.

Pogba is worth it, Griezmann just signed a new contract at Atletico so he is staying loyal to Simeone. So out of these two there is only one option we can still pursue.
Neymar plays in a different position to Ibra and Mkhi so it's not like that at all. We have Martial for that position so we don't need Neymar. We don't have a world class number 10/second striker like Griezmann.

His #10 have been Sneijder, Ozil, and Oscar. Griezmann is nothing like them. He's a 2nd striker. He can't play with his back to the goal, or in tight spaces.
He's a second striker. This is the position that Jose would play him in.

What's the point in engaging in this sort of pure fanaticism at this point after we've already signed two quality attackers. You and I both know we're not buying Griezmann this summer, so why not apply the discussion towards midfield, where we do look like we are going to buy a player.

We wont be signing one either. If we play with a ten then it will be Rooney; whether we're happy with that or not.
If we spend big this window it will be on a central midfielder.
Between Zlatan, Martial, Mkhitaryan and Rashford I expect us to get about 55-65 goals with another 20 coming from other areas.
He conveniently left of Martial and Rashford who will only improve and contribute more goals next year. Also, if Ibra knocks in 30, it will completely suffocate the need for any more attackers.

there's no point to having firepower when there is no one to create chances, its not like our front line from last season is made up of bad finishers we just didn't create enough. Griezmann adds more goalscorers to the team and we end up with the same problem as last season. Pogba or any other top class creative midfielder helps us solve this problem.

And they will. He is lowballing the numbers to drive home a point. Ibra will get somewhere in the 25-30 goal range and Martial will hit 20. I also believe Memphis will start contributing goals in addition to the others. We will be an attack machine, especially if Pogba comes.

Why are you fixating on his age ? Focus on his actual form, which is the best of his career. Even if you believe the French league is lower quality than England, he still managed 51 goals in 50 appearances there at 34, so if you even half those numbers he will get somewhere in the mid 20s to 30.
