Fecking hell

Yeah, last year Pjanic had a similar season to Paul's one (12 assists, both league leaders) and actually two goals more (10-8).
He's definitely a great signing and I expect a lot from him.
Other signings has been great too: Higuain of course, Benatia (that is improving an already strong defence), Dani Alves (imho still one of the best in his role... it was only a friendly but he had a great game a few days ago vs West Ham) and Pjaca (21 years old, very interesting prospect).
I think we might need one more player in the midfield though, since Marchisio is expected to comeback only in October.
Hope for your sake it isn't Witsel. Matuidi fulfils a similar role to Khedira, so he could be a good signing.

Any idea what mids you guys are targeting? I read about Witsel earlier today.

Jose's comments have probably already been posted but talking about other managers comments about the transfer fee:

"I heard comments from other managers but they'll never have this problem (criticism over spending) because to have this problem you have to be in one of the biggest clubs in the world"

 someone fetch Klopp some aloe vera.

He also retweeted a Paul Hayward tweet about Pogba being 50 million overvalued. Pogba for 40 million? On what planet would that happen.
Seriously clueless.
These people are supposed to be journalists, experts in the sport providing insight and analysis. Instead they're nothing more than trolls hunting for clicks and retweets.

I just can't wait for the football now, I never said it in the transfer thread but I was actually getting quite tired of muppeting .

On to what matters now, and that's Bournemouth on Sunday.

So is it true Juve are buying a house for Pogba in England?
That can't be right

Great to see him back! I was gutted when he left first time round but it was probably for the best as Moyes and Van Gaal would have probably sucked every skill out of him in the last 3 years. Extremely hyped for this season now, I hope I won't regret my optimism.

It's like they just pick random people on the street with decent wrting skills. Some of them are very daft.

So, we even paid that fat piggy's fees.

ffs:mad:
To be fair, so you guys should be since that was the deal that you agreed with to sign Pogba in the first place. While I don't like having things like that in contracts, if a club does agree with it and then turns around and tries to not only not go through with it, but actually expects the other team to pay it for them...that's not on.

Just been sent a photo by the missus of my son in a Pogba shirt

As an old(ish) fart, I often feel disconnected with where football is going and feel a bit weird about our new galactico policy. However, it's easy for people like me to forget that there's a new generation of fans out there, who have been crying out for a bit of razzmatazz at United. My lad is 7 and mad about United (the power of brainwashing) but has struggled to find positives while watching us play these last couple of seasons. Which made me hate Van Gaal with a passion. He's besides himself with excitement about this deal, though. He's been on a soccer camp during the school holidays and all the kids his age are doing dab celebrations and think Pogba is cool as feck. Such an inspirational signing for the kids who are just starting to fall in love with United. We've been painfully short of star quality for ages and he has it in spades.

This is what the all the old feckers on here keep complaining about and it is getting rather annoying. This guy is basically the icon for the young generation, similar to how Beckham was the craze when he was coming through at United. You'd think dabbing was equivalent to murder the way some write about it on here. Pogba is the epitome of a flashy, young, modern footballer and this is fine if you have the talent to back it up (Depay doesn't so he looks like an arse)

Can't stand those fake interviews about Paul hating us always being mentioned.
The supposed journalist for this interview even confirmed he never had that interview!

Indeed. Although I've just been reliably informed that nobody dabs any more. It's all about #hitthefolks (yes, I had to google it)
