Paul Pogba - Free Agent | ban reduced - able to play competitively from March 2025

Dear lord. Keep him away from the club. He's toxic. There's a reason he wasn't kept on. INEOS should tell him to go train in London with Chelsea.

He left because he wanted to show us what we were missing by ill treating him with a mere 10% wage hike. He showed us alright and now he's back. #letsgethimoutnowasap

Massive gamble if he returns ...love to know what Ruben’s thinking

Jose was right all along.
Most definitely. Jose might not be the force he was, but definitely knows his way around a football club, more than most. If Amorim seriously values, teamwork, work ethic, mentality etc he'll do well to keep Pogba as far away from the first team as possible.

Can’t believe there’s a single person who seriously would have him back here. Amorim is all about the TEAM. Pogba is all about himself.

I liked Pogba, and I think he should be welcome to use our facilities, but never in a million years should we resign him.
He's old, injury prone, and we have moved on.

People wanting Pogba back is equivalent to USA wanting trump back. Are you out of your damn minds? He's a complete toxic entity.

What this fake rumour has shown is how quick fans' memories have forgotten about all the nonsense around Pogba. It's genuinely staggering that fans would have him back.

Romano saying its fake news and he's training in Miami. All good.
The man spent most of his time travelling and rehab in dubai while he was here against the clubs instructions. You think he will come here to train during winter willingly? The man already has MLS in mind. He shouldnt be anywhere near this club even if he pays us 100k per week to train here. Jesus, some people here have short memory of his social media drama, his late cnut of an agent running his mouth while he did absolutely nothing to quench the circus while fecking off to dubai being injured 80% of the time. Anndd.. the when he plays, he turn up once every 2 season for 10 games. Resounding NO.

This.

He left on a free. Twice.

Do people want him to leave on a free for a third time?

He'd be coming on a free, so who cares? I'm mostly concerned about the injury history and him fecking off to Dubai every other week than anything else. Pace is also a huge part of his game, so given all of the shit that happened with him, I doubt how much intensity / pace he has in him.

Still think he can do better than a guy like Tielemans for example if he stays fit. Probably even Eriksen. I honestly wouldn't mind it if he trains with Amorim and he convinces the manager that he has what it takes.

I couldn't care less about the fee - I don't want him here for all the reasons you've listed, plus his attitude is appalling.

We will never move forwards as a club if we keep trying to rehash the past all the time. Pogba's time here is over. Let's move on.

why would people want him back??
That's just crazy. He was so frustrating to watch—one or two moments of brilliance (perfect for a YouTube compilation), but the rest was mediocre at best.

Unless Amorim has a very specific plan, I don't think this would be a good idea. Very, very specific.
You never know how someone returns, mentally and physically. Can imagine him having lost more pace and power, but on the other hand 32 is also not that old, either (please do not tell me so :nervous:). But United has been a huge mess for so, so long and must be desparate for some - any consistency. So a gamble like this sounds very reckless, especially since even Eriksen has troubles being a sub, and he is more reliable in consistency and playmaking already (and less reliant on physical prowess).

But speaking of Eriksen, I do hope some decent level club is willing to take this risk. You never know how someone returns, could even come with some improvements in composure and such. Chances are it's really over for him (at the top), but it's still a type of player I like to see, so anything close to success would be fun to see

His brother Mathias has been sentenced to 3 years for his part in the blackmail case. 2 of those are suspended and he can serve the other year with an electronic bracelet rather than go to prison. The 5 other defendants were also found guilty and have been given sentences of up to 8 years.

That's wild. His own big brother arranged for him to be kidnapped and blackmailed. Insane.

I thought he’d rocked up here seeing the thread bumped. Jaysus! I’m sure he’s still a good player but he’s a knob who is only in it for himself. It’ll be fun to watch him go to France or somewhere and do something class, followed by something brain dead and then getting injured (not this part) Just glad he’s not our problem to solve or unlock anymore. One of the small bits of luck we’ve gotten as a club post Fergie is him refusing our contract extension. What were we thinking? Idiots!

I'm all aboard for the Paul Pogba Redemption Tour. Hope he signs with a decent club and does well.

Just hope that the voodoo hex has been lifted.
