Paul Pogba | Back in full training

Because like it or not he is the number one reason of lack of character and vanity in the United team, his style and philosophy and the one Ole wants to instill in United are two polar opposites. I'd love to sell him for 100 m plus, but don't think there will be any takers, so just to show all such players who is the actual boss, Ole should do this.

We found Souness guys.

Happy to see Scott back, hope the coaches don't rush him back to save their skin like they did Rashford and Pogba.

Rubbish, we've been much improved transitioning the ball through midfield since Ole has come in. The issue is the next part - the final third.

We had no problem moving the ball through midfield under Mourinho and LVG, the issue is and has always been in the final third.

I disagree. We were stuck in midfield a lot of the time, particularly under Jose. The switch in play through the middle is quite evident to me vs Jose. We are looking to get it through the lines much more quickly and in many cases doing just that. Doesn't mean much if we can't do the job upfront though.

You may disagree but you are wrong, you are mixing style and effectiveness. With Ole we are more direct but we aren't better at it, with LVG and Mourinho it was a matter of being in control of the tempo and we had no issue moving the ball into the final third, we were just weak at creating anything when we were there.

Ole’s made us ‘slightly’ smoother with transitions in midfield but I agree Mourinho had us playing more effective football.

The way we controlled the game against Ajax in that final was a thing of beauty despite us not been easy on the eye. I have zero confidence our current side and manager could accomplish that level of game management now.

The 25 game unbeaten run in the league wasn’t too shabby, defensively at least.

Is there any official diagnosis for Pogba's ankle injury?
Just seen that Blind was back playing for Ajax 3 months after being diagnosed with a heart problem.
Pogba has played about 30mins since September.

I disagree, Mourinho's method is always negating the opponent's best players and try to smash and grab.

That's extremely reducive, you basically ignore the team dynamic component. Mourinho first goal is to identify what you are good at, the conditions you like and take that away from you. When in possession his goal will be to see his team play at a rhythm that doesn't suit the opponent, meaning that he will try to control the rhythm of the game whether it is by putting an emphasis on fast breaks or forcing the opposition into a slow and tactical game, for example if he believes that you are good in a fast and open game, he will try to set the opposite. He will also try to control the area where the game is mainly played.

He's suffering from a severe case of RealMadriditis.

He'll be cured in time for the Euros.

Funny thing, Pogba has played 520 minutes in the PL, Hazard has played 608 minutes. The narratives are totally different even though both players are supposed to have the same injury both with a stress fracture.

Would Deschamps pick him without any form though?

Pogba has so much to lose, he needs to perform before the season's over.

I read somewhere that Pogba is targeting being fit for Fracne internationals.... so no thought about the people who pay him then? I have no idea why we didn't sell him in january: he so obviously doesn't want to be at the club

He'll need to get a run of PL games under his belt before then and he'll be fit long before the 27th March.

I call bullshit on that story.

‘I read somewhere....’.

Well that’s that then.

Hazard missed several games at the start of the season as he was several kg over weight. Not because he had a dodgy ankle.

I read somewhere Pogba’s a tw@t.
I’ve never had the impression that Pogba would be the type to feign injury. I do get the impression that he needs to grow up and start fulfilling his potential because he’s been mostly disappointing for us.

 Sorry bud, sell our best player, whilst injured, in the worst window?

Any other transfer gems?

I read somewhere he eats babies.

Hazard has been out since early december due to a stress fracture in the ankle.

So his agent said he'd like to return to juve but cannot leave us whilst we're in a bad situation

So we will probably still sell even though he wants out and he will be seen as the misunderstood nice guy who we wasted

Funny how the people who slag Pogba off the most are the ones who get these inside scoops on him and his thinking, it's almost as if they're talking absolute shite.

I really wish this season was over and get Pogba out, and bring in a couple of players for the money we receive for him.
