He has been fantastic in this tournament, and it has all started with his mentality. Yes, the set up and players around might fit him better, but his mental approach has been spot on, disciplined, fully engaged, aggressive, tough on his teammates when needed. Played like an outstanding all round midfielder, not a luxury player or one who needs special dispensation to perform but a core leader. I really hope he can bring this mature approach back to Utd and that this tournament has been the switch moment. This is what it takes to be the best, and it is what his talent demands.

He can play anywhere in midfield when the system around him is sound.
I was very impressed by how disciplined he was this game, well done to him. Hopefully Fred has good influence on unlocking his full potential for us, Jose needs to get him to play like he does for France here.

Describes the whole French setup so far. Very defensive and hope the pace of Griezmann and especially Mbappe up front will be enough. So far it seems to work though.
