MOTM performance from the big man. Worldie performance in the first half.

He is insane. If you're expecting a 15 goal a season midfielder then he's not for you but everything else he excels in. I really want to see him with better midfield partners and a striker who doesn't need 10 shots to score 1 goal.

The future is bright for this man.

He is well capable of 15 goals in all competitions, has he not hit the woodwork like nine times and he has about 7 goals. If he polishes his finishing 14 won't be a problem.

He's a level or two above the teams he's facing in this competition, it's far too easy for him.

Is a yellow in each semi not put you out for the final?

No yellows are wiped after quarter finals (just checked it). Which means you can get yellow carded in both semis and not miss the final because 3 yellows usually yields a suspension. It was implemented a few years ago to avoid players missing the final because of yellow cards.

He's amazing.
Nobody is like him these days.
There are some ABOVE-AVERAGE players in major european sides who were trained to do two or three things with high efficiency and/or elegancy, then people watch them and think they are wc, but they aren't.
There's no such a thing as a wc player who can't DRIBBLE..

I expect Pogba will become like Dr. Socrates.

Phew. That's great then. The commentator on my stream kept on talking about how two yellow cards in two semifinals means they'll miss the finals.

He glided through midfield and ruled it like a titan on the mount! :D Robbed of another assist due to our poor finishing but the difference in our team with him in it is so obvious, cut above. Noiw I'm worried about him getting a yellow in the second leg and missing the final.

For those who are wondering: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ar...-League-finals-accumulating-yellow-cards.html

UEFA have announced that they players will no longer miss the Champions League or Europa League final through suspension for the accumulation of yellow cards.

Players' booking will be wiped out after the quarter-final stages of European club competitions.
So even if Pogba gets a yellow next week, he will still be available for the final? If so, great news.

The last line just confused the issue though .. There's nothing there about a player being booked both legs off the semi

I'm confused. It doesn't say they're wiped out after the semis though.

3 yellow cards means suspension, so unless player gets red carded they won't be suspended.

Is there a yellow card amnesty during the semi-finals?

We don't want him missing a final if we make it.

Put Fabinho behind him and players like Mbappe and Greizmann ahead of him and we'll be in for a treat.

He took the piss against that Celta midfield, really looked like a senior player playing against u21's.

He reminded me of Ronaldos first game for Madrid. It looked like a man v u13, they physically couldn't cope with him and hadn't the first clue how to even go about it

There was an Ajax fan in that other thread saying how Pogba wouldn't get into the Ajax team

He's not only very good technically but he is a physical monster when he's on the ball. He just barges men off the ball.

I can't say I'm impressed because I expected him to do what he's doing. The best part is that he hasn't even got going yet really. There is plenty more to come from him.

He gets treated harshly by referees because of his size, as does Fellaini. Blatantly body-checked after a great run in the first half. Amazing how he didn't get a free.

A good analogy. Once you've said, I can't believe it hasn't occured to me before.
