Pogba is good enough to pull shit like this off ;)

Any which way you see having to buy a player back for a world record fee in 4 year time always shows a mistake happened. Playing a player of his quality will never diminish our chance of title so our success that year has nothing to do with it.

That said I think it turns out to be the best for all parties though. He got to be the world record. We still got him while he's reaching his peak and having playing abroad and rejected by Real Madrid money men, there's a bigger chance now he will stay with us for many more years than if he had to play through Moyes and that crazy guy after him.
I'd rather we part with the wr fee than expose Pogba to Moyes the Idiot and Van Gaal the deranged. We would have surely lost him for good if he had stayed and got lost under those two like we almost lost De Gea - the one WC player we had during our time in the wilderness.

Yeezys  I just learnt what those are like 2 days ago. Apparently really comfy.

These last 2 months he's just been a joy to watch. I've always been a massive fan of him, knew he would be world class.

He's what our midfield has needed for years since Scholes left and with players like Zlatan, Mkhi and Martial it's finally fun to watch united again. Thank god for Woody and Jose.

He's been very good recently. He's never had a dominating performance against a big club/in a massive game in his career.
The stage is set.

That you've watched. He was great against Bayern in the semi's and was quite good in the final against Madrid.

He also played really well away to City in the group stages.

That money was worth spending, than allowing those senile old dinosaurs suck the life out of his development, now he is a player in his prime ready to help lead united in the next few years to come and more. All of a sudden fergie's decision by some accident was better off, like they say everything happens for a reason

I love him. There's nothing more to say that hasn't already been illustrated by himself on the pitch. It's beautiful being able to watch him every week as he plays for the club you follow

Shows he's a humble lad who just wants to win, good interview. He's the main player I fear on Sunday, he's also a bit better than I thought he was. If Hendo is fit it's going to be a midfield battle of the titans on Sunday :D

Loved the interview. It was interesting to hear about what José said when Paul came back. ”If there’s anything you need, I’m here for you. Don’t listen to anybody, be free and enjoy yourself on the pitch.”

His ambition is catching, he’ll be a true leader of the team in a few years. ”9 wins in a row? He want to win the league. It’s good to win even 20 matches in a row, but if you don’t win the league, what’s the point?"

Mourinho is a negative manager though and restricts players' natural games on the field so Pogba's comments are strange :confused::confused::confused:
lol

He is worth the money.

We've not only got a fabulous young footballer but we have one big character. Him and Zlatan have brought a vibe back to United which has been non existent under Moyes and LVG.

I haven't felt this level of satisfaction with the club for a long time.

Negative manager? Please tell me, in the last 5 weeks or so, have you seen any negativity?

No. You haven't.

EDIT: Just noticed the white text. Damn you.

So glad he finally got his own emoji on Twitter. I'm gonna be tweeting it like a madman when he blasts one in against the dippers to secure the three points.

Fecking love him. Most complete footballer in the world, star quality, understands the club, loves it, stylish and a leader. After Rooney, Zlatan and Carrick are done, he needs to be captain.

I'd like Herrera to be captain for a bit. He shows real pride and work rate for us.

Yeah Herrera probably deserves it, but I can't stop the feeling that becoming captain might be that extra factor that ties Pogba to MUFC for the rest of his career, and that would be totally worth it.

But I reckon we have both a captain and vice captain position coming up soon enough. Rooney is soon finished and Smalling might also be, perhaps not as a player but as a VC? Definitely.

Herrera's a passionate and committed player, but what does he have that Pogba doesn't, especially when it comes to the captaincy?

Like feck the official account is posting something like that without something being in the works.

My guess is Rooney being shipped in the summer and Pogboom taking over as captain

Give the VC role to Herrera instead of the softie Smalling and everything will be grand.

Rather not. Don't think you should burden your star player with the captaincy.

It should go to a Herrera type presence on the pitch and character behind the scenes. Someone who will not get analysed to death and can spread their focus and energy across the team.

Look at the captains at Real, Barca and Bayern.

I don't really see him being "burdened" by anything. He's cut from a different cloth. The more the pressure, the brighter the lights, the more he grows.

Mourinho said: "I've worked with Paul, tactically as mentally.

"I did nothing special. It is part of him. His technical and psychological qualities are part of him.
"Tactically, I have tried to adjust him and give some guidance and try to make a dynamic player for the team where he can be dangerous and can arrive in certain positions where he has the potential to score.

"I remember when I arrived at Chelsea in 2004 and, in my first match, I played a 4-4-2 where Lampard was the inside player on the left side.

"It took me a couple of months to understand that this guy had so much potential to score goals that I had to change for him.

"It is the same with Pogba, but these are the little details when you work with players.

"With more time, you try to understand them and try to get the best out of them."
And Mourinho said: "Paul is very happy in the way the team plays and the team allows him to play.
"I think he can score goals. I don't want to set targets for him, but I just feel that in every match he can potentially score a goal.

"Paul will always get into positions where he will have a free-kick or a shot from 20 to 25 metres. So I always feel, in every game he will have conditions to potentially score.""

From the Mirror

I've said before that the main thing he needs to add to his game is goals through improved finishing and it looks like Jose thinks similarly. Pogba always gets chances. If he can convert more of them he could become a goal scoring midfielder like Lampard. Would be awesome if he could be that on top of everything else he gives us.

There's a little bit of mind games going on here and it makes me certain we will be starting with Martial and Mkhitaryan. I think Mourinho wants to encourage Liverpool to press Paul on the edge of the area and cut his shooting angles... our quick wingers are the obvious ones to try to punish the space that creates in behind.

It also means no Rooney as Mourinho won't want him congesting that area and slowing it down when it needs a quick transition as soon as that happens.

Rooney should be nowhere near the starting lineup in a game against Liverpool nowadays anyway.

@Santoryo @JPRouve

I thought it was obvious from the games so far but given the managers latest comments do you now agree that Pogba's role is to score a good number of goals along with his other contributions?
