Really? He's the worlds most expensive player for Gods sake. And your happy with him being average? Fair enough.

I really don't think he is average though. My comment was this level of performance as worst, because he had some very poor games at that start would be an acceptable base level to improve upon. Him being the worlds most expensive player has nothing to do with how hes going to play

He has been really good today

Some will no doubt have a moan tho, its trendy to moan about Pogba

Very good. Growing in maturity in this league with every game. Deserved to score too, he really hasn't had the luck this season with assists and goals.

He was alright but I've seen him do much better for us. Can't really fault him for his performance, just a solid 7/10.

feck sake Pogba.

If luck had gone his way this season he'd have at least 4-5 PL goals by now.. and we'd have a bunch more points. I've lost track of the number of times he's hit the post or the crossbar

Thought he was solid today nothing spectacular. Wish he would play more 2-3 touch football and get the ball off his foot faster.
Feels like if he would do this especially at the beginning of games it would set him up for using his dribbling skills and strength to beat players later in the match

Absolutely bossed Dembele, especially in the second half. Was a bit off in the first, but he had total control over the left side of the pitch in the second half, and again was so close to deciding the match. This is the level he should be at, and I'm very pleased that last week's performance against Everton seems to have been a blip.

He's worth every penny. Just hope he stays here in his prime. It's gonna be lot of fun having him though. BTW , he should be taking all our set pieces

Missed the game but based on highlights he should have had a goal. Quality free-kick.

Those criticising him baffle me, it's as if people want him to fail so people can point and say we've been had and wasted 90m, we'd have been better off going after Danny Drinkwater or whoever else etc.

We've been crying out for a player like him for years, there's a lot more to come and he'll continue to improve but for gods sake, change the record and acknowledge that the lads quality.

I thought Pogba was good today. Showed off an impressive long-passing range and also succeeded in using his strength to win plenty of free-kicks up-field. I still feel that he doesn't get enough protection from referees as he deserves but that seems to be a regular problem for players over 6'4. Was unlucky not to have scored from that free-kick, a bit to the right and that would have gone exactly into the top corner.

If things had gone his way, he should have 8-10 assists to his name, too. He's great at finding key-passes and final balls.

His strengths are very evident. Strength, athleticism, technique, control, getting the ball from midfield to attack, set pieces, quick passing, movement, long range shots - the list goes on. He's consistently, reliably good at what he's good at. Forget the fee, he's a young world-class midfielder I'm very glad to have in our team.

Best game by a country mile in a United shirt, finally played for the team and not for himself.

That freekick would've capped an excellent performance today! But sometimes freekicks look even more beautiful when they hit the angle of the post.

Box to box all game, workrate and combative aspects are really coming into his game under Jose, he's using that big frame properly in those midfield duels. He even filled in at LB when Darmian wilted agaisnt Sissoko. So unfortunate not to socre that freekick, what a pearler.

That free kick was amazing. Right up there with payets against us last season.

He should be on them all the time now, stop Ibra wasting them.

Played well and really unlucky not to be on the scoresheet. On another day he could have had 2 or 3.

Hopefully this is the start of a good run for him and us.

If he had some luck every time he hit the post for us this season, people would be talking about him being the best midfielder in the premier league. Some outrageous strikes.

I thought he was very good today. But then I open this thread and I see people moaning?!?

I'm really not understanding some of the reactions in here, I thought he was decent but nowt flash.

Very discliplined and kept it simple.
That's all people wanted after midweek isn't it?
