Patrick Dorgu | Medical today? No. Weekend.

Ok that is fast, not seen him that fast for us though.

He is very quick, just has a bizarre habit of trying to wrestle defenders. Even for the second goal instead of finding space he was put on his back because he was wrestling a defender. Needs to play as more of a fox in the box than trying to be a Haaland bulldozer type striker.

I know they're both Danish, but why is there so much talk of Hojlund on the Dorgu thread?

I keep reading posts I think are related to Dorgu then realise they're yet again discussing a completely different player.

He is a physical player, but he always seems to be running on sand, he almost wants to run into opponents.

Tell them yes that’s fine but we’re taking a million off the price for our risk

I like the idea that Erickson, wise veteran that he is, and having played with and against many of the best players in the world, plus knowing the dysfunction of this side and the shite attitudes that have been plaguing us, must be very knowledgeable of this guy and obviously up for this signing. I can't imagine we would be going through with this pursuit and deal without his full approval and backing.

Pointless stat when he’s playing RW this season.

But finally you can clearly see what we are trying to do. He can play full back and is a danger going forward and we are going for the top 2 on the list with the Ornstein links to Quenda. Very rational focused recruitment and both together will probaly cost less or about the same as a Sancho or a Casemiro.

A lot of people here moaning about Dorgu playing tonight.

Sorry, but that's just acting entitled. The club were not wanting to sell now, and are in a relegation battle. If they want to play him they can.

And if Manchester United want him then they'll wait and they'll pay.

If anything it speaks more of the players professionalism that he hasn't called in with a knock.
