I don't understand the complaints, first we spend too much on players who are average. Then we pay 50% of the price of an established LB (who would be 50m min) in January and still complaints of being expensive.
Then we have a lots of posters defending Hojlund and we should give him time because he's young, even though his fee was £80m
Dorgu can play multiple positions, has core ingredients to be a top player, and will not be as bad as Dalot or Mazraoui in that position. We paid much more for Yoro, not seeing many complaints there.
Who knew about Diallo when we signed him for £35m? Now no complaints. These type of signings bring down our wage structure not only now but in future, we have him on low enough wages that when it comes to contract renewal, it will still be a relatively cheap increase.
If Ruben wanted him, he fits what he wants to do, and I feel he will vastly improve in this system once he gets here. Can we just trust Ruben, with this and see?
