Yes, I would prefer all out in the open too, so that everyone is given a unique manager and club. Instead of 6-7 people drafting from Mourinho-Barcelona (that'd be less fun).

Aye, I'm fine with anything really. So in your idea each manager would have the option of reinforcing from their own pool, and a new pool of some unpicked club and manager (chosen by a neutral)? That sounds good.

losing(or new doesnt matter) clubs/managers into random and all winners get two new random options as well as two old ones

At this stage you just have to pick a manager and a club (that haven't been picked already). These will ultimately form a manager's pool for the initial drafting. Keep in mind you aren't picking for yourself here - all 16 clubs and all 16 managers will be randomised, and 1 of each will be allocated to each manager. So you could end up being assigned Ancelotti and Marseille, for example, and then you could draft from all players that Ancelotti has managed, and all players that have ever played for Marseille.
