If Ole doesn’t snap him up for his next club. He'll fit right in then
Yeah very profoundUntil he isn’t.
Nope.6ft 4 at 17....
Cerro Porteño is a very well known and respected side in South America. Have been protagonists in many Copa Libertadores. It's almost like you don't know what you're talking about, or am I missing something? How many times in football can you say that not only have you never heard of a player, but also the club he plays for?
Paraguay? So obscure.
Yeah, it's piss poor knowledge.Cerro Porteño is a very well known and respected side in South America. Have been protagonists in many Copa Libertadores. It's almost like you don't know what you're talking about, or am I missing something?
Why does it matter which club he plays for?How many times in football can you say that not only have you never heard of a player, but also the club he plays for?
Paraguay? So obscure.
If he’s particularly physical he very well might go straight in, Amorim loves the youngsters!Does this mean we're not going after Davies? Not that an 18-year-old would go straight into the first team but....

Yeah I can see it being the case if he’s physically matured enoughIf he’s particularly physical he very well might go straight in, Amorim loves the youngsters!
OookayAmorim loves the youngsters!
Love that we are finally getting aggressive in South American young talents.
All a bit late. Allowing Chelsea to have a free run at both Estevão and Kendry Paez was borderline criminal. While Todd Boely was busy ‘ruining Chelsea’ by buying the best young talent around, we were balancing their sheet by paying 55m for Mason fecking Mount.

I definitely remember throwing a strop on here back after the Caicedo failure when people made excuses for Murtough because "it wasn't clear who his agent was and how to get the deal done" and then later the Endrick signing as well. Estevao and Paez just add to the list, but to see people excusing our lack of participation in South American wonderkids was a joke. All a bit late. That made laugh tooThe original post said Rafael did succeed
Alvarez too, could've made us a pretty penny.I definitely remember throwing a strop on here back after the Caicedo failure when people made excuses for Murtough because "it wasn't clear who his agent was and how to get the deal done" and then later the Endrick signing as well. He would have been pretty much our best player the last couple of seasons.Alvarez too, could've made us a pretty penny.
And would've allowed us to use move spent on Hojlund/Zirkzee on other positions. He would have been pretty much our best player the last couple of seasons.
It's a massive ask to go from playing in Costa Rica to playing in the Premier League.
We are taking a bit of a punt at £3 million but the odds are he is very unlikely to make it here. I'm guessing that we will loan him out for a few years and see how he progresses.
It's an interesting insight in to how we are looking at new markets but It doesn't seem like one to get particularly excited about!
It’s pretty much the only way we are going back to relevance now. We’ve wasted too much money already to buy our way to success so we need to count on scouting and value to bail us out.And would've allowed us to use move spent on Hojlund/Zirkzee on other positions.
I hope over the next few years, we keep making deals that represent value like Mazraoui.
The ratings in the intro and the video don't match, in a good way. Maybe one-footed, but so were some of the best players in the world, that's not deal-breaker people think it is. Also a bit chunky, but same thing.
The rating 2/10 for 'injury-prone' does need a bit of investigating though.
Water is wetHighly doubt we’ll throw him straight into the first team when we have Amass who’s the same age and not getting any playing time.
The Caicedo failure had nothing to do with Murtough because he was the head of youth development and in charge of doing deals at youth level. So it's not people making excuses but rather pointing to the people who were in charge at the executive level pertaining to first team transfers like Ed Woodward and the transfers/contracts director Matt Judge.I definitely remember throwing a strop on here back after the Caicedo failure when people made excuses for Murtough because "it wasn't clear who his agent was and how to get the deal done" and then later the Endrick signing as well.
