Pakistan vs England (in UAE) 2012

I'm not sure why you're so surprised with England struggling in Asian conditions. They've hardly won a test match, never mind a serious in these conditions for years. Bangladesh being an exception.

Just as Indian, and Pakistani players need to learn playing in English conditions - similarly England need to send players to learn the game in Indian domestic cricket.

PS: Not 20/20

Younis - first century of the series.

Class innings, actually.

Excellent innings by Khan, and a potentially a match winning one.

Spinners are Indias strength? tell that to Zaheer Khan.

You've already proven to clueless twerp, stop boring me.

Pakistan have scored 50 odd runs in last ten overs, Monty Panesar has lost it really. Poor bowling in the last few overs.

I am not surprised in the least. Alien conditions for the English batsmen as is Australia and England for the Indians.

Ok Kock Muncher

Where were the Indian spinners in the last 2 test series?

Has there ever been a Test victory for side scoring less than a 100 in the first innings? Must be a rarity if it's ever happened.

That's the reason why your 'comical Ali' style predictions have been so laughable. ;)

I expected a 1-0 victory or 1-1 draw at the best. I watched Pakistan play South Africa back end of 2010 and it looked like a decent batting track though it had some life.

I never expected us to get battered like we have done. My Commadus Ali :D impression was just that - shock how much we were pummelled and we have been pummelled.

We look like this after our debacle in the West Indies.

 You saw this all coming then did you?

lol

Never saw this. I expected a 1-0 or 1-1. But not this pummeling - this is what we inflicted on othe teams at home.

Looks like we dont travel well.

I was wondering is Pakistans run of results in the last year the best for them in a calendar year?

Is it just me or do the Pakistani commentators have some sort of inferiority complex about Pakistan and always seem to be a bit negative about them? Ramiz Raja hardly says anything positive about Pakistan it seems - contrast that to the Australian commentators.

Or am I losing my marbles?

Pakistan cricket has always been very unpredictable, and their history is littered with inconsistency. They can go from being world class to being a Sunday league team in an instant. This present batting line-up is probably the weakest I've ever known talent wise.

Superb from Pakistan and hopefully we'll complete the whitewash. This series should give a nice boost to the team which has performed well under Misbah and hopefully we'll continue improving. Also, the PCB better not feck this up by replacing this interim coach, he deserves the job after what he has done and the less the PCB gets involved the better.

The Aussie commentators are the most delightful bunch I have ever heard. I remember one ODI game where the opposition needed 2 runs from 8 balls and 4 wickets in hand and Bill Lawry was saying there's still a good possibility Aus will win if they take 'a few wickets soon'.

Pakistan should declare first thing tomorrow and bowl England out for 60. Just to prove their point.

Very rare, according to Sky the last time it happened was 1907.

We are going to loose this by 200 runs...

England won that final session convingly and its turned the game slightly back in their favour.

Pakistan batting collapse at the end was not unsurprising - I think they were eager to bowl!

Looks like the pitch has changed.

Time for a prediction. :D

England will win this, 4 down with Bell getting a century just as people start to question him...Like normal.

Pretty much. England to win and it will cover some of the issues until they re-emerge in the Sri Lankan series.

The pitch will deteriorate further tomorrow. Pakistan still very much massive favourites.

Pakistan will win by 60 runs, KP will fail again.

Its on. We will win this. We look good. We will win by 3 wickets.

Shocking shot by Bell

Commadus, do you reckon Liverpool will win the league next season? I think with one good striker in the summer we have a very good chance.

Yeah like I have power over what happens. I was trying this new positive outlook on things instead of my usual view - it sucks.

Still hold out some hope.

You haven't answered my question, Liverpool to win league next season?

On pitches like this Pakistan need to play someone like Abdur Razzak, as the second seamer. He would have added a bit more in the batting ranks, and bowl a few overs.

Is that a first wicket from Pakistan's second seamer in the series?

Edit: no!

hahaha

Sults.

You questioned my cricket knowledge. Abdur razzak plays for Bangladesh. Take it all back!
