MLS side Toronto FC want to offer Owen Hargreaves a chance to resurrect his career.
The former England midfielder is a free agent after being released by Manchester United following two years blighted by injury to his knees and tendinitis.

Vancouver Whitecaps have also shown interest in the 30-year-old. Toronto are coached by former Dutch midfielder Aron Winter - and ex-Ipswich striker Paul Mariner is director of football.

Yes, Toronto FC, Our Saviour is here!
feck Julien De Guzman, the man's overpaid for being a pylon.
Probably get booed, since he ditched Canada for England.

Oh my feckin god YES!

There is a void in my life that needs to be filled.

I hate Bayern as well. It's irrational, but they did this. It's all them.

We should sign him, what from those 12 second clips of him doing stuff I can see he's more than ready for over 45 seconds of premier league action a year.

Auch jaysus some of you guys are OTT on the lad.

Best of luck to him.

It's not Bayern's fault at all. We all knew he crocked when we bought him and it's up to the medical staff to determine how crocked he was. Just one of those shitty things.

Wish him all the best.

I really want him to do amazingly well at his new club (as long as it's not a Top 4 club or Liverpool)

Hargreaves :(

Good luck to him. Just never worked out for him unfortunately. Of course the great cameo against Wolves will not be forgotten. Nor that cameo when he came on and headed the ball.

Lets be honest, not many people on these forums are as fit as him regardless of weather he has no knees or not. Beer barrel guts.

Fair play to him for putting the effort in, such a shame he didn't play more as he is a good player and all the best to him. Will never forget that penalty let alone the rest. He's English as well and we are crying out for a player like him again.

Good luck Hargo.

Yeah no shit Sherlock! He has been a professional footballer for over a decade. So the amount of exercise and workouts he had to do was incredible.

He was one of the guys whos attitude and work ethic on the football pitch epitomized United - Never say die. It was a real shame that injuries ruined probably what was supposed to be the prime years of his career.

Good luck OH.

Best of luck to him, but something tells me any club that signs this man are going to regret it.

Like to see if Hargo sign for an MLS club... if he can prove his fitness he'd be worth a punt in January.

MLS club? I know things have been bad the last few years for Owen Hargreaves but surely not that bad?

I think he just needs a few games, play 90mins.

Sign on now with an MLS club, treat it like a pre-season... and make a move to a proper club (maybe even re-sign with us) in the Jan transfer window.

Thierry Henry at 33 > Hargreaves now....so I don't know why people are having these reactions to him playing in the MLS. He'll get paid and play, should be happy.
