What I believe is that his agent and mother visited Dortmund, training ground and all that, and met with our DoF. This comes from Dortmund's media partner. They and three French sources all claim to have indepent sources that there's sort of an agreement in place between the player's side and Dortmund. This, however, means nothing if the clubs can't agree (hello Ilkay Gündogan).
According to one French guy - who broke the Martial news IIRC - there'll be a meeting this upcoming week to get the clubs on board.

Yep. Go for Griezmann in the center and Dembele on the right and were absolutely sorted in attack. This guy is rapid, technically gifted and scores goals. Exactly the kind of player we need.

He would be perfect fit to our right wing, he got pace to beat his man, trickery enough,young which means lot of room for improvement.Physically it might be hard to adjust in his first season but he's only 18.

Our CEO hinted yesterday that a deal could be close but refused to confirm. According to French papers, a meeting of the clubs is going to take place this week to get the deal done.

Apparently SportBild confirmed that his mother visited Dortmund and that Dortmudn already would've bought him last winter, however because of their good relationship with Renne's leadership (Puma) they supposedly let him finish the season in France.

I don't think Dembele will be secure starter, he's still 18 and a bit raw. Götze on the other hand probably wouldn't come if he was promised a bench spot.
Dembele is the addition to the offense Tuchel wanted in the Winter window. He and Pulisic will most likely build the cover for Mkhitaryan and Reus on the outward positions in the front five (in Tuchel´s core system 4-1-4-1). If we bring Götze back, it will be because of his play making, decision making and creative input in one of the two central CM/AM hybrid positions, which are currently occupied by two of Gündogan, Castro and Kagawa. Götze is basically Gündogan´s replacement.

I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised if that happens. Dembele to Dortmund, Mahrez linked with Arsenal and Sane dreaming with Barca. However, I would't complain if we sign Griezmann and play 433.
Griezmann has to be play in the middle IMO as a second striker. He seems a complete nafrual in central areas.
