Ole's press conference vs Spurs

I unfollowed the United accounts on social media a long time back and have not missed it. It's always so cringe.
I am so glad I never refollowed after the all green and gold stuff when we used to mass unfollow.
Don’t want to come across as too negative - I surely am these days - but I just can’t read these Ole quotes with straight face. Cliche on a cliche on a cliche.

I don't know that the Fury analogy was wise.. And i cant for the life of me explain why.

All i know is we are the point that opposing fans are now singing Ole's at the wheel. When that happens you know we are a total embarrassment.

Bad enough we are crucified by Liverpool with inept team organisation. But those in charge should be fired for failing to act when it is plain as day that our tactical coaching is amateur hour.

I think he’s been told he’s got till end of season no matter what happens. People at the club and associated with them really pissing on the fans right now, Ole included.
No I don’t think so …the fans would riot If things got really bad.

Goodness me, I think I vomited a little reading that tweet.

Courage? Self-belief? Togetherness? Those are literally things a group leader at an AA meeting would come out with.

I wanna support the team, but this shite is just cringe.

You guys are over analysing everything. He's on his last legs. I have mentally checked out until he's sacked.

The embargoed quotes are strange. I know Ole is deflecting but he'd be better off being candid. He's talking about players and formations when it's his approach thats the problem. We are not losing because we are playing 4231 or McFred. We are losing because he's got our players doing random pressing and leaving huge gaps all over. The team has no shape or structure when defending. That's not the product of a system. We could play 532. It won't matter if you have defenders breaking shape to randomly go chasing after opponents.

What a bunch of drama queens most of you are. It’s just words. He’s saying all the things you’d expect a manager to say. Your all so over dramatic scrutinising every word and getting offended by it. I think the caf needs to impose an age indicator for each poster.

I reckon from now on we have the support of all 20 teams especially our rivals to win the next few games and keep him in a job

And someone should have asked him Ole about who should be drilling that structure. Our journos should also be taking a bigger share of shots at the incompetents supposedly in charge of training sessions.

He is rattled and waiting for the sack. Just do it already ffs.

Or he should just step down.

I get the frustrations with Ole most of us share them.

What I can't understand for the life of me is since when as a fanbase were we so thin skinned to rival banter.

If rival fans singing Ole at the wheel hurts, imagine being in the 50s when they sang Manure. Modern fans are too easily rattled.

Should have told the club pay whatever contractual fines are necessary and not faced questions today. Let the media eat itself.

Thought he handled all that lot really well, it went a lot better than I expected. Fully fit squad is hopefully telling- no one hiding. Sounding positive for Saturday
Not much to handle. Andy Mitten, his Norwegian mate, Michael Gray (?!) …… Softball questions.

And top it off with his usual motherhood statements.

Such a Captain Obvious isn't it, Ole.

For a pantomime, yes.

He is in the trenches with Ronaldo and a wealth of other talent, shouldn't really be there at all. I know Ole loves Utd but there comes a time when you are no longer benefiting the club, like when you are being mocked by every other club in the league.

We know that the squad will do better with a good coach so the only reason the boys are in the trenches is to save Ole's job. I believe that Ole could save his job but Utd would still be better off with another manager.

Ole should resign or be being sacked by now.

Ole is a united fan. Just imagine the hurt and shame if you was Ole standing in front of 80k supporter and you are the main cause of this mess week in week out.

It's definitely not easy for the manager who is a die hard united fan since his playing days.

I support United. The majority of comments here are dreadful. Ole may not be perfect, so please respond if you think you are!
He is our manager, he picks the team, support the team. If you don't go support some other side.

This blind faith again. Ole at the wheel until the team jump of the cliff. Disgraceful

We all support the club, why else do you think we are upset?

Those are definitely not softball questions.

Ole's answers are basically an admission that he knows it's all but over. Like an old man talking about the past instead of looking forward to the future.

It won't be immediate. But I think it's a matter of weeks rather than months.

It's sad watching that, I really wanted him to do well here.

He’s correct his entire 18 years won’t be defined by a few weeks, however you haven’t managed the club for those 18 years - he continues to trade on previous glories in previous roles because he can’t provide anything tangible since being manager; oh sorry they’re happier than under Jose [apparently].

Can’t even get angry about it anymore, just resigned myself to the fact he ain’t going nowhere and neither is the club
Exactly my state of mind. Opposition fans poke fun at the club I support and I just laugh and shrug my shoulders without feeling anything really. In the past it used to affect me but nowadays I'm just numb to it all.
