Ole's press conference vs Spurs

Can’t be arsed wading through the inevitable toxicity of this thread but did anyone decrypt this bit?

“I've had players come up to me. For example I don't read social media but when Paul came up to me, angry. We expect to be criticised, hands up, the performance wasn't good enough, we don't expect, we can't accept when lies are made up. Paul told me what he put up on his social media. We're better than that as a group - the culture, environment is better, we can't stand for blatant lies. They've gotta stand up and say so. All the opinions and reports, fine, but don't make up lies about players or me."

Think it's about this https://www.google.com/amp/s/metro....olskjaer-after-liverpool-defeat-15493481/amp/

Goodness me, I think I vomited a little reading that tweet.

Courage
Togetherness
Teamwork
Self-Belief
Sticking together

By my count that's actually 2 things . Sticking together, Teamwork and togetherness are the fecking same thing

Courage and self belief are interchangeable as well.

I'm surprised we'd tweet this and let other teams in on the magic formula.

Why do you think Adidas sponsors United? Just answer me this simple question.
Because these brands want to be associated with Ole's leadership.

Banter FC, banter manager. He should be answering questions about how he comes to work with a straight face after that embarrassment against Pool.
He would probably say that the result has deeply affected everyone at the club… but he’d be all smiley and relaxed while saying it.

It’s nice to read something on here that made me laugh out loud after the last few days of angsty and angry posts.

 If this were true I wonder why we're not playing the theme song of the Titanic at OT on matchday.

We'd all be laughing at that tweet if it was from a rival club, and rightly so.

That's the kind of words a college fresher uses to describe their strenghts in an interview. Cringe.

So when is the fight back happening?

Same shit was said after Villa, then after LC and now after Liverpool.

We need to change our social media approach
Social media team is following Ole word’s. I know it’s irritating but i don’t really blame them. They dont have lot to work on

I don't care what stat you want to put up Ole is the worst manager we've ever had, for the Opposition fans to pray he doesn't get sack says it all!!

We are probably the club that apologises and talks about accountability the most, yet when push comes to shove, we don't really fancy the tough decisions.

Nah, I'd give that to Moyes, even though I think Moyes is a much better manager than Ole.

I mean, there was that time we got relegated and all but sure Ole is the worst.

So who's ready to bounce back again?
Who is eager to see the same first team again, bouncing back? They are ready to go, but where?
They forgot the sixth key ingredient, bounciiiing!

I’ve got so fed up with reading the word ‘hopefully’ following the reporting of the latest apologetic interview after defeat. ‘Hopefully’ we will defend better, ‘hopefully’ we will get a response, ‘hopefully’ we will put things right next time out etc. It’s gone beyond a joke how trite this response has become. Quite frankly hope is the preserve of the lost, whereas those that succeed do more than just hope, or talk about the next game in such vague terms. More action less talk - one of the many reasons why Roy Keane was a leader and the likes of Maguire never will be.

As a fan you can view every thing, every detail, every fibre of the club and manager and press conference and player and body mannerism through #OleOut lenses and drive yourself into a black hole of despair

OR

You can accept that Ole won't be kicked out by the board on your schedule, and watch press conferences and matches as objectively and emotion-free as possible to save yourself the histrionics (whether you are #OleOut or not is irrelevant here, but I'm personally choosing not to let my opinion on the manager ruin an otherwise benign watch of his press conference, the games alone suffice)
You're right but - and I know it's only football - it's hard to take the emotion out of it when you're seeing your club rot away.

I wonder if the media are briefed on the type of questions they can ask or even have to show the question beforehand? Seems different to what they have written, like an old mates meeting.
