It's hardly 'turning on the guy' to suggest that his time as manager has probably run its course. I think utd fans would have more respect for Gary if he was honest and agreed that the job's probably beyond the current manager and his coaching staff.
The thought of not wanting to replace Ole because we don't like the alternatives is fatalism.

Comparing result without any context. Liverpool result is symptom of far bigger issue while City result was more of an anomaly. Nobody asked Klopp to be removed when they lost to Aston Villa. But this thumping was coming and was in fact predicted by Scholes just a week back
