Yup he is guesstimating. But he is in a good place to do that.
The issue is Dortmund has the structure in place for a long time, defined by going through trial and error. They're in position where they can afford to do that. On the other hands, we just have everything rolled out in one go. A pool of experienced personnels doesn't equate to a well oiled system/ team, let alone a newly assembled team still working under decision maker made up of money men.
Being groomed would imply someone with experience and the know how is watching over and mentoring. Who is it at our club doing this mentor role?

International break for most of us means good time to change the manager so whoever comes in has some time to prepare but for our board it means 2 weeks off where they don't have to think about the manager.

I've given up on the board now. I don't they will sack Ole until it becomes clear beyond any reasonable doubt that he won;t make top four. All the while it's still a possibility, however remote, they won't sack him.
Never has the disconnect between the fans and the board been more evident than today.
We, the fans, believe United should be challenging Liverpool and City for the title year after year, but the Glazers and Ed - though I'm sure they'd enjoy the prize money from winning the league - are content so long as we're playing in the CL every season. We're singing from entitely different hymn sheets. We want one thing, they want another.

Obviously not. There are few choices available. Ole has done fine up til now. Small steps in the right direction. He has been up against the wall before, and has come out stronger. Belittling him doesn’t change that. We have started building a squad, and need to continue in the same philosophy. Our under 23’s is packet with talent, and we are close to a competitive 11. We can’t hire “Conte”, or anyone else who will take us back. We need to continue. Either Ole salvage the bad start, or we go with a manger who can build on our formation. Haag, or Zidane with his 4-3-3 is obviously our best choice. But will they come now?

Ronaldo had maybe our best team of all time, Pogba for the majority of his time here has had our worst squad for the last 30 years. Ronaldo's been here for 2 months now and there's already reports of him wanting to go in the summer.
But for Ronaldo it's standards, for Pogba it's he's a snake.
