I wait for something like we have parted ways with Ole Gunnar but have signed Carrick, McKenna, and our set piece coach up to a new 10 year deal.

That is some serious poor timing to feck off on a holiday. The guy has got some big balls that's for sure. He is living the dream, dream job, rich, unsackable...

Or he's been told he is a done.

If they don’t sack him I’m praying for a national lockdown in Norway.
What are the scenarios in which work permit can be revoked in UK? Being grossly incompetent but being blissfully unaware of the same good enough reason?

The worst part is it doesn't even hurt anymore. The clown remains in charge is hardly bothering me. If this continues, surely there will be a few who will not enjoy singing his song and absolutely forget the good times we have had. He should quit, but then I don't think he has the talent to ever have a job like this again nor the mental capacity to think about the club above himself. They are all self serving people in football and Ole(or Lole like my friends call him back home) is no different.

Rio’s right. There is a lot of emotion around at the minute, but I do think if he goes before the next time, Ole will still be remembered fondly. That’s my main concern though, that we don’t pull the trigger and people start to really hate the man.

I'm actually more optimistic now than at the beginning of the season, in a sense it's better than we have hit rock bottom and the board will be forced to sack Ole. Wether it happens now or at any point in the season or summer doesn't make a difference it'll happen.

It's better than the last two seasons were we weren't as bad but we're so far away from competing for big titles, just wandering for months and months in top 4 mediocrity.

It's better this way, we may actually end up with a top coach that takes us to the top.

This is horrible isn’t it. I really hope one day he comes back with whoever his new side might be, and gets one hell of an ovation at Old Trafford. Seeing the fans turn on him might be necessary right now, but it doesn’t make it any less unpleasant. I just feel sorry for Ole - it’s not his fault he isn’t up to the job.

If he goes now then yes. He does deserve credit for finishing 2nd last season, it was overachieving IMO. If the board give him more time to sabotage this season then his legacy as manager is ruined though.

Turns out that tweet is clickbait nonsense. The MEN article actually headlines that "Manchester United are NO closer to sacking Ole.."

I agree

Be funny as shit if they fired him and sent Scholes to do it on the flight. "I know it was you, Paul, you betrayed me."

Ole documentary film voice over by Ray Liotta, "If you're part of an old mates club, nobody ever tells you that they're going to fire you, doesn't happen that way. There weren't any arguments or curses like in the movies. See, your firers come with smiles, they come as your friends, the people who've cared for you all of your professional life. And they always seem to come at a time that you're at your weakest and most in need of their help."

Oh my god...I'm starting to feel sad at the thought of him going ffs. Even though I want him to go. I think it might be happening.

If that is a recent picture, it gives me some hope he's gonna be sacked.
Same here. I think this is done now. Why would he leave the country? Not all of the players are on international duty, Shaw and Rashford pulled out for example. In the midst of poor results you would assume he would be on the training ground trying to set things right.

Looks to me like he has been told he is done. You also have mystic Rio putting his two cents in.

I expect the announcement late today.

If it were to happen it would have happened today. Why? Because I don’t think they will ditch him without a replacement/caretaker and there is absolutely nothing about that being discussed. Nothing. Also, the Woodward leaving is just bad, bad timing for those of us wanting Ole and his coaches out. He will still be here at Christmas because we will win-lose-draw-win etc. The squad is too good to drop to far out of reach for top 4.
The club is a mess and there is nothing we can do about it.

I think nobody wanted it to end like this. Sure there will be a twinge of sadness when it happens but we know it's for the best. Kind of like when you have to put your pet down; you are sad and mourn its passing but deep down you realise it's the right and best thing for the pet at thing at that time. So yeah, it's perfectly okay to feel sad and want him gone!

We waited till 8.30pm to sack Jose supposedly so I'll check back around then.
