Can't wait for his sacking. Each game under Ole just makes it harder for his successor to salvage the season. Board needs to put him out of his memory ASAP.

I wish the man the best, he's a legend. He tried and failed, there's no shame in that.
Right on keeping him will cost us the CL group and make top four more difficult if not impossible. Then we begin next smer with another monumental rebuild and spend ages and billions dropping vibes like 'progress and culture reboot'. Never seen a club so intent on self harm like Manchester United.

There's plenty of decent interims around if our primary target isn't immediately available 'till the summer.

Look at it from a career planning perspective. He's on his way to win another double and make a good CL run. It's a risk for him and his reputation to hop on board now.

He's never managed in England or the PL or come in mid season in a high pressure job. Why would he not take the trophies and the plaudits for a good showing in the CL, so he can weigh his options in the summer when he has a full pre season and a summer transfer window at a variety of clubs?

There's no confirmation that he isn't available. Our board just hasn't shown any interest and it's rumoured it's because of his lack of PL experience.

A truly top manager worth his salt will jump at the opportunity to manage this club. If Ten Hag is after small wins then one has to question his bottle - he doesn’t strike me like someone whose going to turn down a huge opportunity.

The club's decision to give Ole that new contract after that embarrassment of a Europa League final is looking stupider by the day. He would have been on his last year and they could have easily said they'll reassess his position by the end of the season, which would have taken some pressure off them, and its not like any other club would be trying to prize him away.

Maybe I'm being hopeful but I fully expect the club to sack him over the next 24 hours. This isn't sustainable and right now top 4 isn't even looking good, fully expect the rumour mill to kick in later this evening with an announcement following tomorrow.

Surely it is damaging the club's image with them not sacking him.

I really hope you're right. You should be right. But I fear you're not unfortunately, which is infuriating and sickening

The only time this man has something on his mind is when he's wearing a hat, folks.
How he's still a Manchester United manager is such a clear indication, that we live in a Football Manager simulation, and a shit one at that.

But it's not like our offer to him would be the only opportunity to manage a club of our size. He'll have similar offers in the summer or the year after if he keeps going like this.
Also he's really building something right now and might want to reap the benefits for he moves.

Succeeding Pep is realistically a much better job for example. The same unlimited funds with better management and less drama. And he wins 2 trophies and gets a CL run in the meantime.

He isn't going anywhere because they've not lined anybody up.

Which is absolutely outrageous because his continued employment is indefensible.

Is he just wumming us at this point?
No, that was before he was appointed by Chelsea. If I remember correctly, there were some talks of Tuchel at United, but then Ole once again survived with a good string of jammy results.

I was convinced he’d be gone after today, but since Conte is not an option anymore, I don’t think they’ll pull the plug on him, it’s sad to think that’ll we’ll stick with him until the end of the season, and I truly think he’ll set the club back further than Moyes did.

There's a lot less chatter and rumour than post Liverpool isn't there?

It should not take that long. That would mean our season is over.

I agree, but the mood seems very different than it was after Liverpool game, there's 'just a another day at the office' sort of feel to it to me.

The Spurs game was a perfect for saving Ole, we looked great and won the game very easily, we showed that Varane is a big miss for us (so Ole is unlucky he is injured), and we lost the only obvious top class manager who could replace him to the team we beat, it was fate, and we must now suffer longer because of it.

Nothing will happen tomorrow. I’d expect noise to pick up tomorrow night and sacked on Monday morning IF they have the balls to actually act.

That's all he knows. I'm convinced his football knowledge is limited as a manager and just uses buzz words all the time to answer questions.

One hundred 100% look at Klopp answering why he gave VVD a verbal bashing during a match. The tactical detail for VVD being a few yards out of position during a phase of play was incredible. Then you have Ole talking about he’s not bothered about 6 & 8 when it comes to midfielders in his day it was just about defending and attacking.

Just come out the cinema with my son. Switched the phone on and my heart slipped a beat when I saw 'sacked on BBC sport', realize it's the fecking Norwich manager. How is this fecker still here. Shambles. 4 points from 18

I give up with the fecking circus that is our club right now. They do not care one single bit. I have completely apathy to our results and that won't change under the current management team.

Because the scoreline doesn’t appear that bad. By that I mean at our best when we win the league we could play City and lose 2-Nil and either be unlucky or have an off day.. people who didn’t watch won’t realise how bad it was and how we got outplayed by a City team who weren’t even trying.

Of course they do. You cannot take this club serious anymore that's the cold hard truth we as fans have to accept. This club isn't interested in winning titles. It's all a big boys club full of people top to bottom who are incompetent. We have morphed into Arsenal and that's a sad indictment
