Genuinely cannot put into words how happy it makes me feel to see Ferguson there enjoying this victory. My god I love that man so damn much.

Yeah. The first that came to mind when I saw the pic was "how long has it been since we saw him so happy?".

He absolutely 100% has to stay. Would be ridiculous to not give him the job. The man has saved Manchester United.

When PSG hit the post late on (can’t remember who it was) I had a feeling it was meant to be. More than the result I feel overjoyed to have Manchester United back, I’ve not felt this nervous watching football in a long time. No need to rock the boat, let’s ride the wave of confidence and give Ole the job at end of season

That was just like the 1999 final against Bayern wasn't it?

Lpool fan here..

he reminds me of when klopp came to us. hes just doing everything right, saying everything right and bringing spirit and togetherness to the club.

i personally think that priceless. his record is out of this world at present.. but win or lose, hes a manager you can really get behind.

Give a contract tonight and and a fat budget in the summer. Still hasn't sunk in, absolutely mental turnaround.

Thats it for me honestly. I've been one of the biggest advocates for Poch on this forum but I'm convinced now that Ole is the man. Give him the job at the end of the season and back him properly in the summer. He is the right fit in every way possible.

100% this. We can see forward movement now. Win/lose/draw we can take a positive. under mourinho apart from the first year I nevrr felt that. His negativity set in and ruined everything. I can’t see that happening with ole.

it just feels right this time.

He is so humble and keep putting down all this to just saying players go and express yourselves, enjoy it. But I think all this success is a bit more than just saying this. I am sure even Jose would have told them to go and play you like at some point but that didnt work out

"Boss" is still Sir Alex for everyone, except for receptionist Kath.

I'll never forget the day I met Sir Alex in the reception area. I was going in to hand in an application for match day steward, went to the desk, spoke to the receptionist that day...and then like an apparition, who came around the corner and into view?! Sir Alex. He must have seen some emotion on my face because he looked straight at me, walked towards me, said "hello son" and I said "Hello Mr Ferguson".

In the moments after I wondered whether there was any element of disrespect from me, considering his Knighthood and being a 'Sir'. But in the moment I went for Mr Ferguson to refrain from using his first name.

Lovely little experience. He was wearing a bright yellow jumper. Just thought I'd throw that in there. :D

Absolutely incredible. The man can do no wrong - I wonder if he doesn't mind staying on as full-time manager and sending us on SAF like run of success.

His positivity and mentality is key and a big difference from the negativity under Mourinho. Tactically we still doesn't look the best all the time, but we got great spirit in the side and work very hard together. Confidence is so important and Ole has helped to raise it for plenty of players.

He's so fecking good he's even reversed the only loss on his record. The man is nuts.

Ole is a very intelligent man and had the luxury of taking a masters degree in football management from the greatest manager there was in Sir Alex. How do you think a certain Mourinho and a fellow called Ince are feeling now.... Yes Ince you could have done what Ole has done... Ole needs to get the job tomorrow

They’ll be riots if he doesn’t stay now.

Poch or whoever wouldn’t stand a chance, if Ole left in the summer I think the players will be completely deflated again.

Yeah he’s getting the job. It’s now a case of whether a DoF-like figure is coming in...hopefully more of a head of recruitment guy to help get the right players in, after the past few years of mediocre at very best recruitment.

He’s really no bigger a gamble than Pochettino now. If he can revitalise the club structure like he has the first team...

Win the first 5 you can say you are riding your luck, win 14 from 17 with 8 straight away victories (3 or 4 very tough games) it is no fluke. Just 3 months ago the squad was written off. We were going to sell everyone in Jan and buy everyone too. Just goes to show the difference Ole has made. I had my reservations at first but i am now 100% behind Ole to get the job although we should not announce until after the last game of the season. We need no distractions and need that director of football to come on first. 3 1 in Paris, im still shaking its been 2 hours!

he is no longer a gamble mate. Poch is now a huge huge gamble. Like staking your both kidneys on 10000/1 odd.

I used to be a steward and had a similar encounter with Paddy Crerand and Gordon McQueen whilst waiting to go on shift. They approached me and my work mates! Absolute gentlemen.
