He ain't allowed on social media during matches.
Right.

Poor Ole. Every interview they bring up him getting the job and he has to down play it. If it wasn't already done, it is now. Buzzing after that match. Can't wait to have a re-watch.

Also the guy is still the baby faced assassin indeed. He's ruthless in his decisions, subs and benching but keeps it quiet and fine in pressers. Perfect management. Exactly Fergie like too.

"Mountains are there to be climbed"

What a quote that turned out to be

When PSG hit the post late on (can’t remember who it was) I had a feeling it was meant to be. More than the result I feel overjoyed to have Manchester United back, I’ve not felt this nervous watching football in a long time. No need to rock the boat, let’s ride the wave of confidence and give Ole the job at end of season

That's right! I remember now. I think it's just for the Scandinavian crowd though. United like to look after their own, especially after he found himself in dire straits playing for Layton Orient after his injuries and John O'Shea giving him money so he could live. He's done alright despite all that.

That's what makes United! Ater 08 its the best night tonight. fecking can't believe.. the manner that we won it tonight. I love this club. I fecking love it!!

As long as the announcement is made before we lift the CL trophy at the end of the season, I don't care.

He made a mistake by having Bailly play right back where we getting destroyed effortlessly but he caught on pretty quick and dragged him off for Dalot after 30 mins. Other managers may have not been that brave or open to accepting they made a mistake.
PSG hardly troubled us there at all after. Lesson learnt.

I'm not going to lie, he's starting to irritate me now. He was a spawny little fecker of a player who played in the spawniest ever team they ever had. Scored a spawny goal when they spawned the champions league. I fecking hated him as a player and now that hatred is returning. Seems he's a spawny fecker of a manager as well. I wish he'd feck off now, I really do.
Taken from RAWK

When he said we would go for it I thought he was just being diplomatic. But he really believed it. And then did it. LOVE HIM!

Ole has now avenged his only loss and rendered it utterly meaningless. Essentially still undefeated!

Happily admit that I had my doubts up until now due to his lack of track record. But well on board with this now. He's done everything right and has earned his chance.

He's our Football Jesus Christ. Taking us from the grave and up to the football heaven.

Thank you Solskjaer

Thank you, Ole! I never thought I'd be getting the excitement like this again after so many years. But in the 3 months since you came back, wow, it just came week after week after week. Southampton last weekend was exhilarating, now this. Whatever happens for the rest of the season, I will always be thankful for these thrilling 3 months.

I honestly can't wait to see the goalposts moved again after this one. The die harder's were saying "If we beat PSG and go through" they'll change their mind.

Anyone trying to justify another manager after this will be laughed out by everyone. Looking forward to what @Amadaeus has to say!
If you're the one making the hire, your hands are tied so you do it now. Period. That does not mean it is objectively the best decision. You don't make objective decisions on emotional highs.

There's no skin in the game for us on the message boards. Those saying Ole is the guy would take no issue with calling it Woodward's fault for making an emotional decision should the newness wear off next year.

Either way, you just go with it now. But I'd think on a 2+1 or 3 year deal and nothing longer like we did with Moyes. It's a bigger risk than most would like to acknowledge, and smells a little too much of romanticism and a fear of change. But it should be exciting.

Ole managed to beat PSG at their home ground with a midfield of Fred, Perreira and McTominay, this is incredible. All players raised their game but what Ole instilled in those guys' heads is astonishing.

Love that photo!!!

Still a little speechless after that!

I think the key thing for tonight is belief. Ole gave the players belief. I was thinking with all those injuries and the Pogba suspension surely we couldn't. Then Ole gave his press conference yesterday and the flicker of hope started. Surely we couldn't.

To score so early was great. It added to the belief. Yes we conceded, they were targeting Bailly would be interested to know if the change was tactical or injury.

Yes there were elements of luck but that was a Manchester United performance right there.

Like the commentators said at the end not once did he mention all our injuries. And it would have been easy to with so many first team players out. Imagine Jose in that position?! Makes the pathetic surrender to Sevilla even more annoying!

Yes you potentially start to call PSG bottlers especially after last year, they probably arent used to competition as their league is so easy for them.

But what an incredible night, I was disappointed we were behind and looked likely to go out after the first leg as some big teams had gone it's very open this year.

Surely he cant can he?!

I have a feeling we get Liverpool next round...

The "loss" doesn't count now as far as i'm concerned. It was a game of two legs which he came through. He has almost a perfect record now.

I said if he pulls this off and overcome PSG, I'd be firmly on his side and he should be given the job permanently, because I still have doubts about his managerial ability long-term wise. Ole, I hope you prove me wrong.

It’s funny that of all the people the one who doubts his long term view as a manager is somebody who would desperately want to see Mourinho still manage us, a manager who has time and time again shown his inability to have any sort of long term success anywhere.
