Is Ole a good appointment?

I can't get my head how can anyone still think he shouldn't get the job and prefer Poch.

Fecking get in. The job is his.

His best game here yet.

The amount of tactical diversity he has shown since getting here is superb.

The longer the season goes on, the more bizarre it would be for us not to give him the job.

Ole has maximised his resources instead of moaning that X,Y and Z are not good enough.

On his way to pass an Amadeus test it seems. But then again Chelsea is in a poor form so Liverpool is a proper test I guess.

How many of us will confess that we were dreading tonight? I dared to doubt Ole all because of one match. That was a manager’s win tonight. A comfortable 2-0 win away at a full strength Chelsea. feck me.

I am sorry. You have humbled me. Beat Liverpool and the job is yours.

Brilliant! Just fecking brilliant!

Just seen his post match interview and rubbing Shearer’s nose into it!:lol:

He's won every game against the top 6 so far, scoring 6 and conceding 1. Hope it continues this weekend.

He's the manager.

Doubters can feck off now as far as I'm concerned. Pochettino isn't doing anything better than what Ole has delivered so far.

Pochettino is getting results from a threadbare squad without Harry Kane. I shudder to imagine what we would be like without Pogba.

He has done superb job so far. Wins vs Spurs away, Arsenal away, Chelsea away is just brilliant.

Also Chelsea barely created anything. They had 2 shots on target and both came from Luiz's free kick and Pedro's shot from rebound.

I actually wouldn't mind if we lost today at all, and yet we won at Stamford Bridge where we are usually terrible, against Chelsea side that desperately need a win. Great stuff. Where is that contract?

He's done enough now. This was his best game so far. We can't beat him up for losing to the likes of PSG or Liverpool (if it happens). We know the squad needs a little work to compete against the very best

First half was just perfect, was really impressed how we set up. Second half was a great defensive performance although we should try to keep the ball a bit more, having said that it's not easy to do it with Lukaku in the team

He's setting us up to beat the teams we should be.

The only blip on his record is Burnley as far as I'm concerned.

What's the thing with Shearer, can anyone explain?

Eh, if I was Ole's agent I'd probably be trying to get the press to help pressure Woodward and the club into giving Ole a contract. Maybe throw out a link to another club that's been impressed, like a Leverkusen or Leicester sized club that you could believe Ole would consider a good job if given like a 3 year deal, scare the club off Pochettino or whoever if it's someone that would take time to secure.
You should be Ole's agent!:D

Bloody proud of him tonight.

Always one

If you think Pochettino is doing any worse, please justify your opinion. You don't have to put someone else down to praise Ole and the job he is doing.

Ole, in the end might be more of a good fit for United than Poch but Poch is doing one of the best managerial jobs with what's at his disposal.

They are really getting on my tits now.

We're on one of the best runs I can fecking remember and they're still nit-picking (especially after that shite we had to endure with Mourinho).
Probably Mourinho fans who are still butthurt, or trolls.

He passed a huge test tonight. Bounced back after a defeat and won at THE Utd bogey ground and we were missing two thirds of our best attack.

@Wednesday at Stoke mate nobody wants to hear about another club's coach tonight.

We have a United treble winning legend in the dugout doing the business. He's now beaten Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea away. His only loss has been against a team that has depth like the sea. Give it a rest talking about other people. Let's just enjoy this.

Ill confess I was especially after those injuries... I'm starting to get goosebumps  if we can win or even draw vs Liverpool...

Could so easily have been unnerved by the PSG loss and come out and parked the bus and hid but we came out with one of our best performances of the season, the work rate of most of the players was fantastic. And then to hear him talk up the FA cup rather than just dismiss it :cool:

Liverpool will be a huge tactical test, interesting hearing the players talk about Ole, the risk the board and owners take appointing a different manager at this stage is how much they seem to love Ole do you risk another Jose situation?

I would however want the same coaching set up with him Mike Phelan is just that experienced word of advice that can help support him.

Question- would you be disappointed if we lost to Liverpool or is it like a PSG situation in that they are that level above us at the moment?

We have taken the blue pill three times and it hasn't worked. Now we have taken the red pill, and its working. Why try the blue pill again?

Great win.

I still hope we improve our ball circulation because we'll need it in Europe, but a great bounce back from the team.

Ole's done a fantastic job.

We should STILL wait until the end of the season before reviewing our managerial options and yes OGS should be a serious contender.

However, to give him the job now could change the dynamics in so many untold ways so why fix something that ain't broke. He wasn't promised the job. He knows exactly what terms the role is and he happens to be excelling in it.

You're comparing the most creative player in our team to an out and out goalscorer in another team. Without Kane, they've still got Son. I think without Eriksen they'd also struggle like if we were without Pogba.
