Are you for real? We won against the last team in the epl!!Olé's at the wheel again.
But there will still be people complaining about no progress or coaching.

I don't underestimate our squad and our players so i think that with this squad good manager would play much better football and have much more point. I post against Ole because after one year we still look awful. Did you watched our last 3 games before Norwich? We were bloody awful. No idea, no plan, no desire.Well you obviously never watched the football under Moyes, LvG and Mourinho unless you're one of these revisionists that have now decided they were actually not that bad?
I know that you post of a lot of anti Ole stuff on here but seriously where would you expect us to finish this season with the squad we have? We're currently sitting in 5th.
No it's a myth. Our football has been piss poor this season. We only played good attacking football in number of games that can be counted on one hand. Saying we have been playing good football under Ole is just rewriting recent history.

Arsenal and Spurs didn't so......I’m glad we beat Norwich & scored a few goals- but let’s be honest everyone beats Norwich.
I don't know from where that shit is coming. It is literally this season. Something which is happening in period of last 5 months. In that 5 months we had games without shot on target, shambolic performances and defeats, losing streaks and in only in last 10(!!) days we had 3 shit games. But we look better and better? AmazingNo it's a myth. Our football has been piss poor this season. We only played good attacking football in number of games that can be counted on one hand. Ole gets way too much criticism here. People talk about him as if he’s completely clueless, calling him a league one managers, etc. He’s talked about as if he’s someone who has no idea what he’s doing. It’s really complete bullshit. We’re inconsistent and have had some shocking performances, but just look at what he’s getting out of Martial, Rashford, Fred, McTominay, Williams, Greenwood. The future is bright, and looking at the development and improvement of the aforementioned, I can’t say I have a problem with him taking the team forward.
This thread will blow up again next week when Liverpool beat us, but I really think this team is going places under Ole. Give him a couple more signings and we’ll start seeing off lower end teams. The good work he’s done has not been duly credited, but the club need to back him in the market.

We've been awful under Moyes, under LvG, under Mourinho...even under Fergie at times. After Fergie we've gone for safe. We've gone for big names. We've gone for best in the world. And even though some of them won stuff, they still got moved on. Why?? Because the football was shite. Even with big name players packed in the squad.
I don't understand how people think that just appointing a new manager is automatically going to fix everything. Every appointment is a gamble.
What would you do if we did appoint Poch and we were still in the same predicament as before after 12 months? I wonder what fans would find to bitch about then?
We were not shit under Mourinho and Lvg. Their reign was not just their last few months in this club. They were here 2 years. In their first seasons we looked good, we played good football and won trophies( under lvg we won it in second season). We are nowhere near good now how we were under Jose and Lvg. And don't forget that Ole is here one year already. We've been awful under Moyes, under LvG, under Mourinho...even under Fergie at times. After Fergie we've gone for safe. We've gone for big names. 100% agree.Ole gets way too much criticism here. I don’t get this point at all...So because every appointment is a gamble we should therefore continue & stick with a very mediocre one? The logic is baffling
It's no different to changing managers everytime we have a bad run either. Where is the logic in that?
So why didn't we just stick with them then if they they were that good and winning trophies? LvG got sacked on the day we won the FA Cup.....because his football had been shite. You want to go back through the Mourinho threads as well mate. His football was sucking the life out of the fans. People would have put up with his histrionics if we were playing good stuff but it was dire.We were not shit under Mourinho and Lvg. Their reign was not just their last few months in this club. And the rest of your post is just a false logic on which @Rafaeldagold gave you answer.
But tell me; Why do we still buy players? We had really bad transfers in the past so why we are still buying players? Why we are still buying players from PL when some transfers from PL were shit?

You really don't like Ole do you?
So how long do you think it's going to take to replace all of our deadwood?? And would you rather be in Spurs and Arsenal's position?Nope not the same logic. It’s not a bad run. He’s been here over a year. If you can’t see he’s not good enough then that’s fine. We aren’t making the Champions League next year for a reason- the club which yes DOES include the manager is not good enough

Yeah they were given a shitload of money on players. Ole won't get sacked because we are in the process of building a new team. Unless we do an Arsenal, he'll get another year at the very least.Partly but not the entire reason he was sacked. He also finished outside the top four, as Jose and Moyes were in course to before they were sacked. If Ole is on the same course, he’ll also be sacked and rightly so.

Just going around in circles. We tried the 'decent' managers already. I'm guessing you'll be happy with Poch who spent 5 years at Spurs and won nothing?Couple of years probably. But we can improve the manager now so why not do that ...give a decent manager the job to rebuild United. Not a nobody in the managerial world who’s only tactic is counter attack. It’s crazy

Yes let’s not hire decent managers (who by the way won us trophies & got top 4) & stick with a terrible one because apparently the decent ones didn’t work (despite winning us things)
Utterly crazy logic. The club is absolutely fcked with even the fans thinking this nonsense
Is a weak ABC 123 argument. Poch is more inclined to have us reach success here than Solskjaer is. If fans cannot perceive how this is possible then they should trade watching football to learning how to use common sense.
Away from the this manager will do better or worse argument, we are still poor in possession of play. We played a team that lost 13 times this season prior but the goals are still coming about from individual brilliance. Compare Arsenal's first goal against Palace with ours and you'll be able to rationalize what a team dynamic is. Irrespective of the result I still question Solskjaer ability to build a platform for us to win games which is exactly why we are inconsistent. I also have to remind many that good players doesn't equate consistency, consistency is measured often from the impetus of the manager to implement a foundation which provides a team the platform to perform persistently.
Sometimes just keep quiet.
I’m glad we beat Norwich & scored a few goals- but let’s be honest everyone beats Norwich.
It’s all so predictable what will happen. We’ll finish 5/6/7th. There will be claims of progress despite the fact we’re regressing & could obtain a much better manager, but we’ll stick with it for another year or so where we’ll sack him & be another 2-3 years behind the top clubs in England.
We dither & never act pro active.
Finishing below 4th should ALWAYS be unacceptable & a serious serious question asked about the manager. With Ole no such questions will be asked
1. Some deadwood gone
2. Players in (especially AWB and James) are very young
3. Age profile is better now than it was under Jose. We consistently put out very young starting XI's
4. Big individual improvements in certain players, especially Fred who genuinely looked like an amateur footballer under Jose now looks like a decent PL midfielder
5. Good use of the kids, especially Greenwood who this season will have gained loads of experience and confidence, yet has been used sparingly like you should do with teenagers
Even though we are inconsistent as feck and there have been some truly horrific performances this year, we are in a better state now than when Ole took over. People also need to realize this team is far from the finished article, there is still loads of dross and aging players who needs to go. Baily, Shaw Jones, Rojo, Young, Mata, Lindgard, Matic, Chong. Ideally none of these should be part of the squad in 1-2 years. Then you have Pogba and that constant fecking circus who should imo just leave as well and probably will if someone is willing to pay for him. This is my (subjective) view of the squad:
Good enough now and for the future: Rashford, Martial, Maguire, AWB,
Useful squad players/Will be good enough: Greenwood, Pereira, James, Fred, McTomminay, Williams, Henderson (hes a better keeper than DDG), Lindelof
Remains to be seen: Tuanzebe, Fosu-Mensah, Gomes, Dalot
Should be sold/released: DDG, Baily, Shaw Jones, Rojo, Young, Mata, Lindgard, Matic, Chong, Pogba
And this isn't some weak attempt to exonerate Ole, i would have thought exactly the same had Poch been in the chair. Even if Ole is sacked in May the next manager has a lot of work to do in terms of constructing a competitive squad
Spot on! I’m tired of those called “fans” that act as spoiled kids and glory hunters.I feel sorry for Ole. He can't win whatever he does.
If he loses then he's not up to the job, but if he wins it's because the players have dug him out, or because the other team gave us a chance to counter. Despite winning some tough games, he's still painted as this guy who basically picks 11 players and who hasn't a clue of what he's doing. That is pretty insulting and wide of the mark. His interviews show him to be calm, knowledgeable, and realistic.
As for our style of play, we don't have the personnel in midfield to set up any other way. There is no Scholes and Carrick midfield axis to control games from the middle of the park. The best two midfielders we have are out of contention. Clearly in the summer we are going to address that issue and bring in at least one player to complement the options we already have.
People need to be patient, but it goes against the grain in this day in age, even though Marcus Rashford is proof positive of how young players generally grow year on year. The likes of Pereira, Williams, and Greenwood will most likely go through the same process and in a couple of seasons will be far more consistent, having added to their skillsets.
Look at Spurs. Are they really any better off under Mourinho now they have dispensed with a manager who got them to a European Cup final only last season?
Stop complaining! Mr glory hunterJust keep your mouth shut.
