Poor you.

Killing your joy as a glory hunter more like.

You do realise that we are barely in the top 6 and pretty average.
By definition anybody still supporting MUFC is not a glory hunter.
Glory hunters departed a few years back, before Jose joined us.

I keep thinking he is making progress - using the right players in the right formation - only for him to completely turn it around when we need it the most.

He unfortunately doesn't know what he is doing.

Top players around the world will be on the phones to their agents as I type this.

All absolutely desperate to be a part of the Ole revolution.

The revolution of not having to get results or give a feck on the pitch. Just run around a bit and it'll be fine because 'it's a work in progress' and 'we're building a new culture'.

Most players hate tactics anyway. They hate being properly coached. They hate high level training sessions. They hate winning and they hate shooting or scoring goals. All of this plays heavily in Ole's favour this summer.

Spot on. Me supporting the club IS part of the reason we are shit. Great post again

You don't think supporters have an impact on decisions like these?

Arsenal supporters constantly voiced their concerns under Emery and he was eventually, and righfully, sacked. We're happy with standards being dropped to bare minimum. Our clueless board gets exactly what it wants.

He's a moron if he still doesn't see that we need new players after that performance.

I'm sure he wants to get more players in, but his priority is to hang onto his dream job where his salary got bumped tenfold and if his boss Ed doesn't want to spend money, then he'll play along. As long as he sings "youth, british, rebuild", half the fanbase will defend him through relegation.

Perfect manager that Ed Woodward has been looking for all along. There's no incentive for Woodward to get another manager who might call out his incompetence.

It's true, what sort of moron supporting Man United comes out with crap like that. Maybe if your team was a going nowhere side in league 2 and you watching it week in week out, there will be substance in what you said....

Again, feck off.

Decent away game against a good team with a weak side.

Don't know what any of you fecking idiots expect from a front 5 of James, Chong, Mata, Greenwood, Pereira with Matic as the holding midfielder.

A shot on target perhaps?
A good performance?
Some semblance of a coherent attacking strategy?

Results alone are not the only reason why there's question marks over Ole.

Another great manager like Caf favourite Nuno Santo would have thumped them 5-0 with that line up.

Or listen to press conferences where the manager of Manchester United confirms that they are in fact, looking to add midfielders in January if possible?

And do you believe this?
We have been fed this drivel many times before and we failed to buy because are looking to save money.

This will be like Mourinho's long road to departure, only this time the road is much much longer.

It was a better result than we expected so it's not a night to be outraged by it like many seem to be (or are pretending to be because they've made already made their mind up).

You and some of the others in here have become an absolute joke.

You conveniently skipped a part of Wolves playing a weak side too and once they put a few first team players in, we couldn't get out of our box. The only idiot here is you.

Ole has been given one of the most high profile jobs in football and that for a club he loves. Gets well paid for the privilege and he's doing his best. If he's not good enough that is for his bosses to assess and act accordingly and any criticism should be aimed at the decision-makers. I'm not sure why the hatred against Ole if his best is not good enough.
Because he talks out of his ‘medieval’ ass

Aye I'm the idiot for not being happy with the crap we're seeing month after month year after year, silly me.

This is such a weird game to be angry about. A team full of players who have either not seen game time for months at end, or have played together at all since the pre-season, add some players everyone wants gone from the club in Matic and Young, but still you expect a stellar performance?

I get that you can moan about the Arsenal game because that was bad, but come on, this match?

The term glory hunter and Manchester United are no longer mutually exclusive. Anyone watching this shite on a weekly basis is a true fan imo.

Its actually funny, people expressing their concerns, anger, sadness to situation that Manchester United football club is in = glory hunting.

I get that you can moan about the Arsenal game because that was bad, but come on, this match?

You think people's anger is stemming just from this one match?

My anger stems from about 20 matches I've seen of us under Ole.

Can he ever coach the team from the bench or he thinks we're doing well on the pitch? He looks lost.

Oh well we must be fecked then, if the man who says “etc” every 5 words can’t see the plan yet?

He is someone who has defended Ole through everything. Played with him. A friend of his. Has links in the club and knows FAR more than you ever will about what's going on inside the club right now.

Even he now has admitted the plan isn't clear

I'm not particularly enraged after tonights game, its exactly what I expected, if anything we did better as we managed to get a replay. But my mood doesn't flip flop like many on here, I'm beyond done in at the state of the club, and see very little to change my mood.

Who's this "we" you keep on talking about?
You predict United to lose every single game so that you can bring it up after the game. It doesn't matter if the opposition hasn't won a game for half a year or if they are from a small country whose league is over for a month. Every single game.

Isn't the point of an internal philosophy and style that its embedded into the roots of the club? Thats the whole point of training, no?

Under Fergie, even when we lost to shit teams, we always attacked. Even 1-0 down to whoever in league 1 or 2, we never gave in and always looked to win. That was his style and vision - Ole has no idea what to do hence why we were stuck in our own half for the last 30 minutes and looked so clueless throughout. We have no idea how to attack a team.

There's a poll on here pre match. Around 70% said Wolves to win. That 'we'.

Given the team we used this is a good performance. Wolves is a really good side and they had a stronger side than us starting.

The same problems we have in attack shows though that there is not much of a plan to break compact teams down. Wolves defended deep and counter attacked which suit us poorly. Still could have won the game with a normal ref with eyes.

Still using Mata, Pereira, Chong in attack makes it hard to produce great football. Mata got the brain, but not the legs anymore. Also James needs to be coached better than to just use his pace.

If our club listened to people like you then we really would be finished.

I actually believe that 5th place and still in all the cups under these circumstances is cause for congratulations for Ole and Phelan and Carrick and the players and whoever else is involved.

Be patient. Try to be smart enough to understand that the answer isn't always 'change something'

So of all the things he promised when he was made permanent, what has he delivered?

Playing youth a bit.

That is ALL. LVG did that.

No fitness
No pressing
No United Way attacking football
And DEFINITELY no results

He is a fraud. Actually no I'll take that back. He isn't a fraud. He isn't doing this deliberately and he's a top guy with his heart firmly in the right place.

He's just completely unable to coach or manage at a high level.

We could keep Ole for 4 more years and I guarantee we'll still be a boring, inconsistent midtable side. Guarantee it.

He's not appropriate.

This is not a rebuild. A rebuild shows signs of positivity. Now, a rebuild can also happen overnight with an ambitious board and top coaches but I digress.

What we are witnessing is a brutal regression.

Can he ever coach the team from the bench or he thinks we're doing well on the pitch? He looks lost.
A lot of managers sit on the bench in football (LvG) Players are prepared before the game and should be able to play according to instructions. Hardly a stick to beat Ole. There are other more valid criticisms.

Under the circumstances of having a woeful management and coaching team who can neither manage nor coach. Yes, that's true.

Could you hand on heart say that if we replaced Young, Williams, Mata, Chong, Greenwood with their first team counterparts we would have put in a better performance?

I’m not convinced, so I think the quoted poster has a point, we’re playing awfully and we need to change something (I’m not an expert and don’t know what).

I'll be patient when its warranted. The longer Ole stays, the more damage he does. You can't actually believe that we're going anywhere under him?

Ole isn't the right Man but still stuck to my guns...... Glazers/Woodward is a bigger problem. Getting rid of Ole and sticking with Glazers n Woodward will have us go nowhere.

Get the fecking Saudis in and let's start acting like a big club again.

Oh I watched, fell asleep for a bit because it was fecking boring. No player will be inspired by him. No fan would even contemplate him as boss if he didn’t play for us in the past. Our standards have fallen off a cliff

That’s all well and good, but what’s the point of throwing in lies like that? I saw you say it in the matchday thread as well, Ole’s on his arse all game, even though we saw more clips than usual of him on his feet and shouting instructions. Just seems like needless misdirection.

Yes but we lack leadership in the team so I think he has to lead and coach them.

I remember LvG was murdered for it.

So the Ole bashing continues, suprising not many other managers would be held to such high standards with a shoe string of a squad, which is depleted and very young.

Most of you so called “fans” want world beaters and 2008 Barca when we’ve got the kids playing most of the time and hardly 1-2 world class players in the starting 11

It’s about time you all woke up and smelt the roses.

We aren’t in Fergie era anymore. Wake up and get over it and get behind the team.

God forbid you supported a League 1 or League 2 side who lose one week and win the next and then go on a topsy turvy 2 months. Don’t think many of you could stand it to be honest.

Also below is two instances of the angry Ole many of you claim to want. He’s all smiles in public but behind closed doors b*ll**s the players. Just how it should be.

FEAR FACTOR Ashley Young: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is no baby-faced assassin, he commands respect by ‘losing it’ like legendary Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson

Solskjaer labels players ‘embarrassing’

After Manchester United’s slog to a draw against Southampton on the weekend, The Sun reports what went down in the dressing room. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was reportedly furious with his players, telling them it was ‘embarrassing’ that they could not finish teams off, and that they were playing like a ‘joke’ with a match against unbeaten Leicester City next.

RvP was a bigger player for us.

Ffs, everyone goes on about Ole scoring against Bayern.

Okay, cool, so did Teddy. Shall we give him a whirl in the manager’s hot seat?

Solskjaer has to be one of the most overrated ‘legends’ in history.

His exploits are akin to what Origi is doing at Liverpool.

This is a classic example of a bad post.

I love it.

Would read again.
