Seriously there must be something wrong with my tv or something, guess we are not watching the same team.
When we attack we look great, probably as good if not better than any manager post Fergie. Problem is, that only happens about 15 minutes every match, and even then we might not score such as today because of inconsistency from our two young prodigious forwards. So don't be surprised if the next manager whether its Poch or some german dude comes in, fixes up the midfield a bit, and gets us playing like Klopp's early days with Liverpool. Everyone would then hail him as our savior and worship him like a god, and of course I would enjoy that as well, but it would be terribly unfair on Ole.

So many people having go at Ole. What a shame. Same people that was all over Mourinho, vanGaal, Moyes and even Ferguson. Just look at "Guardiola sack Watch" thread. No patience whatsoever. Everything has to been done in a second. From buying players to winning league.

Lets pretend new manager comes in tommorow. WIll you give him a chance or will you after a draw or a lost game have a go at him? Demanding Changes? Without mentioning what players we have. Without taking anything else in account in your quick analisys.
Second? Ole has been here for a year and we look worse than a year ago. We are shambles. We cannot win a game for half a year now, you can have all the patience in the world but seriously how can some people choose to bury their heads in sand and not see a painfully obvious reality that he is an inept relegation level manager is beyond me.

He's had a year. I've seen you defend him to the death, and it's clearly been your agenda since you joined. Good luck with that.

Yet again - no one is pointing at the players. Ole is at maximum 10% of the problems we have.

I have been a staunch defender of him, but this is starting to look really bad. Even as shit as many of these players are, we should be doing better than this. I dont think its any point sacking him now, but i dont think hes the right man to lead us further either.

Lets see where we are in May and then get in a new manager. And when Ole goes, that fecking twat Woodward goes with him

Mate, it is hard to defend but it’s not been a year.

He took over a squad in shambles, it’s a project that needs time. If we don’t give it time this time what are we gonna do?

Giving time is fine for the right manager which Ole clearly isn't.

There's nothing special about Ole. His "project" can easily be taken over by a manager worthy of being given the time. He's simply out of his depth.

It's not good whichever way you look at it.

His words and actions don't match. He did an interview recently where he said the subs need time to come on and have an impact on the game, yet he keeps bringing players with barely any time. He talks about attacking football, but plays safe football. There's no pattern to the play, poor game management.

The stats make for very a poor reading too, so he can't lean on that. Seems to have a blindspot for certain players and I don't believe he has the pull to bring the players that are good enough to bring him up a level.

For me, it's not a matter of if, but only when he's going to get sacked. Sad to say, we all wish it worked out. But I hope the board is more sensible this time and look at it logically.

Are there better managers willing to come to United? If so, they need to be proactive for once and take action. But that's placing too much faith in that useless board.

Ole: “Now I am a manager of a side that has shown some really positive signs in recent weeks. Of course, it was frustrating that we didn’t come away from Bramall Lane with three points last Sunday, but I was really heartened by the fighting spirit the boys showed.”

DELUSION at its best..he need to go NOW

Id go with this more, it’s the sack him now brigade I can’t live with.

But seriously the players are the problem, we don’t have enough good ones. Once they are on the pitch there is little Ole can do apart from subs and positional changes.

We need better players first.

We were 2-3 up in injury time, not much wrong with what he said there.

Seriously they must be two different transmitions and Im Looking at the shitty one.

All I see is forwards running with all their pace to cross the ball into an empty box. Thats it.

I swear to god the worst part of us is our attack, we have no attacking patterns. Its not a bad luck patch we just dont generate chances, I think all the attack is left to players creativity. No planned movement from our players, no one-two passes, no triangulations, no consistent fullback overlaps it all seems as an improvised attack whenever we get the ball.

Just see James, all he does is run straight forward as fast as he can to then deliver a cross into the box, whether theres a player or not there.

Its really not IMO and even if it is true, its nothing to be proud about.

Feels like the tide has turned.

He's a nice guy and remains a club legend, but he is woefully inadequate as a United manager.

His team selections and substitutions/in-game management are just appalling. It's not through a lack of effort (unlike Mourinho, Solskjaer clearly loves the club), but he is just so obviously out of his depth, it's really rather painful to watch.

Which he's bad at? I don't see what he's brought to this team.

27% win rate whilst also signing Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Ashley Young, Juan Mata & Andreas Pereira to new long term contracts and letting Herrera and Lukaku leave without replacements.

Also, letting Smalling leave on loan while keeping Jones, Bailly and Rojo at the club.

People should never forget that the guy calling the main shots is Ed Woodward, He has been calling them from the start of the demise of the club, and is still calling them today.
You’re spot on. I never thought ole would be good enough of a manager for us but it isn’t his fault. The board made another mistake in not waiting till the end f the season to appoint him and maybe they thought it was good business.
But more importantly, our recruitment has been shambolic under the glazers.
Sell Ronaldo and replace him with Valencia, a solid player but never going to get more than 15 goals a season, plus Michael Owen on a free and obertan?
We got Scholes out of retirement to paper over cracks.
Moyes first transfer window was ridiculously bad and the last two summers have been too.
I’ve seen people blaming ole for not replacing the players he let go, but I refuse to believe, given all the past evidence, that he made that decision, no way. Woodward and judge and co are sinking us.
I keep hearing, oh we’ve spent loads and only city have outspent us. But city have had a better squad than us for years and they still outspend us despite the financial power we’ve built up over decades of winning organically.
Like Mourinho said, we should be outspending (everyone) City by a lot more than we have until we get a competent squad.
PSG have done it. Barcelona and Madrid ruthlessly reinvest whenever necessary. We dither.
It’s shocking what the leeches up top have been getting away with.
Oh and what about the director of football?

If you rest your full eleven through the week you've got to win the fixture on the Sunday.

It's Europa or bust this season, unfortunately, I've lost all confidence Ole is the man to do it anymore.

He's had a year. I've seen you defend him to the death, and it's clearly been your agenda since you joined. Good luck with that.

I don't like quick changes and solutions. I think managers should be given time whoever they are. If we got new manager I would stay behind him aswell as long as I see and understand what is happening. It is not about Ole as a person.

I didn't see the game so cant really comment though followed the match day thread and got the gist of how we played

I wonder if our early Europa qualification is what's helping keep Ole in his role

I voted sack a while ago when we had our "mini" resurgence vs Norwich and Brighton I thought I wont change my vote yet but fair play if he has turned it around

Unfortunately it looks like he hasn't and still needs to go- how many more people would be voting sack if he had no previous connection to the club?

I continue with my view the club as a whole needs restructuring, I don't think we will ever truly know just what percentage of fault for the summer can be attributed to Ole, the Glazers and Woodward. Would we be in this position if we hadn't had the problems/ negligence of handling the transfer window in the summer?
However what brings the final nail in Ole's coffin for me is how we CAN play- look at some of our play against Brighton and at times Sheffield United- this for me, while I believe the players can do better, proves it's not the players and he could be doing better with the ones at his disposal. One thing I will say for him is I'm not getting the slightest feeling the players have downed tools which I did with Jose.

However when do we sack him? (Answer the club wont) but do we want to be sacking him before 2 big games against Jose's Tottenham who he has on a bounce then City who while they currently arent looking great still have multiple players that can hurt us? Also who is available?

Clubs in "better" positions than us have sacked their manager I'm wondering if the fantastic PSG game which while incredible at the time, has actually been what has ultimately hurt us the most, as it was probably one of the key moments that led to Ole being appointed early

His post match interview has annoyed and concerned me too it sounds just like Moyes and him not knowing how to fix it

If you take a fish outside the water will it learn to live in Texas with time and patience?

Ole is shit on a stick manager, difference is even Cardiff fans got it straight away, whilst some of ours still have “faith”.

We looked miserable under Jose, but clueless under Ole. Going by the stats, the latter is worse.

I’d rather think it’s positive.

We aren’t gonna do feck all in the league this season anyway so changing managers now isn’t going to do anything. If it has to happen in the summer so be it.

It’s the sacking and changing another manager part mate. How many rounds do you want to go?

If it wasn't for Poch being sacked I'd say Ole would of made it till the end of the season no matter what happens between now and then. But Poch was sacked so I can only see one of 5 things happening.

1) Ole gets sacked before Xmas, we pay up the 12m Poch would lose if he joins another club and he becomes our manager.

2) We stick with Ole and strike a deal with Poch paying him a retainer to come in at the end of the season.

3) Poch isn't interested and the club stick with the excuse of a long term plan and continue with Ole.

4) Poch isn't interested, we sack Ole and are left up the proverbial shit creek without a paddle.

5) Poch is interested but the club sticks with Ole because they like having their own little sock puppet.

If it isn't 1 or 2 then we're fecked.

So your on the fence?

Now is not the time to stop sacking managers in, we got the worst one in charge with the worst record

But your trusting the clowns above, Liverpool have good owners and execs, we have cnuts and clowns.
Removing one clown(Ole) is better than having two clowns - board and Ole.

We have multiple examples of good managers doing a good job despite all over the shop management.

Now you have bad management on top and even worse manager in Ole at helm. Literally the worst combination there is.

It might be a perfect time.

A new manager (let's not be coy, we all know it's going to be Poch) could get a reaction from the players similar to when Ole took charge last season.

Maybe for City. Don't think it's worth giving Poch his first game against Spurs though.

Funny how people are saying he has been here a year but at the same time refuse to use the full stats from that said year. Let's keep saying he has been here since December but only use the stats since the start of April because that fits the agenda more.

He is out of his depth for sure but there are enough sticks to beat him with without resorting to selective stats.

The one clown you want removing though is the only one with United best interest at heart.
