I am sure people who have granted spending just under a billion on players and watched the wage bill grow to top three in the world will just allow a manager who is out of his depth to just ruin their investment because he is a yes man.
People with any clue on the footballing front wouldnt have hired him in the first place. The footballing side is a mess, but financially we are incredibly well off. This shit isnt going to change anytime soon.

Legend of a player, professional / Rancid manager, coach and tactician. Give him until summer then bring in Poch.

You think Poch will wait around for us to decide to choose him over a manager that should have been sacked 2 months ago?

I don't think the most pessimistic posters were predicting us to have only 4 wins out of 14 approaching December. This is so unacceptable on so many different levels.

This isn't Real Madrid sacking a manager for only winning the League title and not the CL too.

Or Bayern sacking a manager because they had gone 3 games without a win and the football was a bit shit, even though he won the league the season before.

The form we have shown since Ole got the job in March isn't just bad by top club standards, it's bad by any standards. 6 wins from 23 league games would have much much smaller clubs than us getting ready to sack the manager.

Please stop with the DOF bollocks.

You’d think he found some gems on the cheap. He bought Maguire who everyone knew about and the same with AWB for £130m combined. I’d give him credit for James but that doesn’t mean suddenly we should make him DOF.
We won't hire a DOF anyway.

Everton, Leicester and Wolves would sack Ole for these results, at least after a season anyway.

Let that sink in.

I don’t want him as DOF. Again how come no ones touched him outside of Molde and Cardiff in the past decade he’s been an active manager?

When it does happen and OGS leaves, and the fans who sided with him will inevitably say “he needed more time”... well let’s see how much of a loss it is when Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG end up fighting for his signature in the summer... right?

Ok, i want him gone too now, wanted to give him a chance to the end of the season, buuuut this will not work out. Get Poch now that he is available.

That said, some of the comments here are stupid, Ole did not give himself the contract, so don't blame him for that.
It's his dream job, so he is not going to leave, he will have to be sacked, and that's not up to himself, so don't blame that on him either, he thinks he can turn it around.
Most of us disagrees, obviously, but comments calling him a clown or a fraud, is a bit stupid, in my opinion.
Blame the right people, and drop the personal abuse on Ole.

I should have been more specific I mentioned in a previous post to get the verbal consent of Poch to manage in the summer and phase Ole out.

I have heard rumblings that if Poch takes a job beforehand he supposedly loses his compensatory payment. Unsure if it's credible but if true for the sake of 12 million I can't see him taking a job right away.

Season is a write of anyway.

Ole has been great in fixing the mess of the last few years(The recent transfers has been on point, deadwood has been mostly moved on and there's really positive signs with youth players) but ultimately he is a bit shite as a manager. There's hardly any signs at all that this team has a playing style or plan.

So with that I would give he until the end of the season to continue with transfers and youth players, with Pochettino coming in the summer(The reality is any manager coming in now would struggle massively).

Noone is worse than Moyes. He brought this downfall and noone's been able to get out of it.
This. He bought Mata and Fellaini and it took us nearly five years to get rid of one of them.

I want him sacked, but then it's a very difficult set of fixtures (Spurs and City) for any new manager to come to.

Maybe sack him tomorrow and wait for a week before we hire a new manager? Not like it was making a difference either way.

Ole: “Now I am a manager of a side that has shown some really positive signs in recent weeks. Of course, it was frustrating that we didn’t come away from Bramall Lane with three points last Sunday, but I was really heartened by the fighting spirit the boys showed.”

Someone please let him know he is not managing Cardiff anymore.

He talks as if anything of this shit is acceptable, he is repeating and repeating this talk over and over to make it seem as if this is normal. Its not, he is shit there’s NOTHING positive to take from this.

OLE OUT

Ole is not a clown or a fraud, he is a United legend for his time here as a player, without a doubt. As a manager he just does not have the qualifications to be in his current position, he is not up to the task. Allthough, he has a major problem. And that is that the people above him at United are also out of their league and should not have the positions they currently have.

Top four will take care of itself in the end according to Ole.

Love him as a player. But he sounds more deluded than Moyes.

At least whoever comes in can’t do a worse job. I’m gutted it’s not worked out for Ole but he has properly blown his chance. The team don’t look like they know how to win a game.
whoever comes in needs to move Phelan, Carrick, Mckena and co on too.

Would he had any chance of brining in McTomney for the villa game? I'd brought him in if he's almost ready. I mean how are we expected to control and win games with Fred and Pereira?

I genuinely forgot we were playing today So I'm not even mad weve played crap as I've only just seen result now.

The board are doing a great job of hanging a legend out to dry and suffer absolute shit for which he doesn't deserve. I feel for him personally because it's going to end very ugly.

I rate McTominay highly but fans wanting or thinking that he could be our saviour is ludicrous.

Last few games it's felt like the lads are outperforming Ole's poor tactics. As soon as they forget the trash he's taught them and take the lead we revert to the b.s again.

Ole may not be good at the management side of things, but he will remain a United legend as a player. We should never forget that he is manager under Woodward and the Glazers. And Mourinho, Van Gaal, and Moyes have all failed under the same regime. The main problem is obviously the owners.

I wonder if the players even care that Ole is out here taking flak for them week after week?

I am sure he knows his 24/7 positivity sounds daft. However, he has no choice but to protect them and hope they repay his faith. We all saw how badly they react to criticism under Jose.

I just see a bloke who loves United being taken for a ride by a bunch of bluffers. Keano was completely right about them.

He chose to give Pereira a contract. He chose tow the party line that he was happy with his squad.
He also chose to give smalling a contract and shipped him out. Ditto Jones who has barely featured.

he’s hardly going to pull a Jose and blast the players in public

I’m questioning if he knows anything tbh. Seems to me he’s utterly clueless, as bad if not worse than David Moyes.

I've been looking in my crystal ball. It says that Solskjær will be fired after the City match. We lose points to both Spurs and City and are then in the bottom half of the table. Then he gets fired.
