Apologies if so - he's on an Elite manager's salary at the very least though.
Pretty sure someone debunked it. Unfortunately we are obviously paying him mega money to do an extremely underwhelming job, though.
Gill and Fergie did a good job whilst with bad owners.

I literally don't get your point. You are praising him for chopping some of the squad, yet absolve him from blame giving contracts to Mata, Jones, Pereira and the likes? Maybe Woodward wanted to chop those players and this is not down on Ole?
We have seen LvG and Jose chop some players and the numbers are hardly different.
He has made Young captain, gave Jones a new contract, along with couple from your list as well, so not really sure what your point is.
His tenure made us slide into an even worse position that we were 12 months prior.
There's absolutely not a single player(bar McT) that he improved, lost us another year without CL, several players went downwards and has been handing out contracts to players that shouldn't be here - just like every other manager before him.
Also praising him for letting Lukaku go without a replacement - I'm not sure what I can say about that...

Percentage wise we’re getting better value for money
Neither were value for money of any sort. Just more time wasted falling behind other teams.

Ole and the board said that top 4 was the aim at the start of this season and that he was happy with the squad. I agree that it isn't top 6 quality, unfortunately the club thought it was.
I was, appointing him in March was a terrible decision.

Im looking at the long term mate, changes are needed and I think it’s easier under him. Bring in another superstar manager and we go back to instant results, we need to make a choice I’ve made mine.
To be fair, jesse lingard has shown progress, and a young player like him can become world class in a few years

Love ole, one of my all time favourites. Nothing would make me happier than a guy like him turning us around. But today might be the day that turned my head and patience. We were absolutely hopeless. Last 3 games we have looked devoid of any sort of system at all, 1 year into oles tenure.
Roy Evans was paid more than Fergie prior to the 1996 FA Cup final. Michael Crick's book "The Boss" revealed that Ferguson told Martin Edwards to lead the team out himself if he felt the chairman was more important than the manager.

They're just managers who are light years ahead of Ole at every aspect of management and coaching.

If you credit him for getting rid of players, then he probably has a say on who stays or leaves. Mata doesn't get a contract if he insists he isn’t needed.
Mike I disagree. I believe he isn't getting the best out of his resources. Look where Leicester finished last season. Hand on heart after the Chelsea game at home would you have swapped our squad for Leicesters? Rodgers is over achieving at Leicester and getting the maximum out of the team. Ole is under performing and not getting the best out of the players.
you are beginning to mix things up mate. He doesn't also sell/loan players and the pricks above him do. I can't praise him for "clearing the deadwood" if you can't hold him responsible for giving deals to those average players.
To me changes are to the worse and that's clearly visible in our performances. When the new manager comes in it makes zero difference what Ole has wanted as everything will change when he takes over.
What would be left is nothing positive or different to what others before him have done.

See previous response a manager can definitively sing off on a player going, new contract (these days have financial consequences)
Do you really think he wants some of these players who most managers of the championship wouldn’t bust a gut for.
That doesn't make sense. If the manager says I want rid of x player, they don’t get a new contract.
