Wow, just wow. Up there with the worst comments about Ole on the Caf, and that’s saying something.

The one good thing he has done is get rid of the money grabbing mercenaries, he’s not one of them.

The guy loves the club, stop sulking and get a grip.
I also love the club. Please make me the manager if that's the criteria of being one these days.

Honestly for once instead of branding other posters posts as shite can you come up with one single reason why he deserves to stay in the manager's role?

7 points off after 9 games. Do you know how statistical projection works? Or better yet, do you know how to interpret what your eyes see on a football pitch?
Ole supporters don't care about what they see on the pitch.

When asked about the struggles of the team against literally every opponent, they say that "even fergie used to struggle" forgetting the difference between a one off day and consistently poor performances.

When asked about why teams with worse players than us play better, they say Ole hasn't had a full season yet. Like we will just start playing squash buckling football once its December.

When asked about why we are 14th, they say "oh its just xyz points from 4th". Like we are on an upward curve and are definitely covering ground rather than losing it.

When asked why he should remain in the job they say "look he bought well and sold mercenaries". Is that the manager's job or the recruitment team's?

"I hope we are going to stop them because it's always going to be difficult down at Carrow Road. So hopefully we'll have a fresh team because we'll need to be at our best to have a chance." - Ladies and gentlemen let me present to you Ole's philosophy.

Any manager of big club saying things like that (against promoted team sits on 19th) should be sacked on the spot. That's the damning thing he doesn't have a clue, or even charisma of a good leader.

Honestly. If we were playing good football, and there were signs of style of play and players developing etc. I wouldn’t mind being 14th at this stage and I’d be happy to give him time as id have reason to believe results will come.
Exactly.

A hatful of excuses. At this point, Ole supporters are either WUMs, opposition fans or deluded romantics.

Easily the worst manager in the PL right now. If we make every team we play look better and more organised than us, it is obvious what is wrong.

We have good enough players to be much higher up the table.

Let's just forget the fact that he's a club legend for a minute, do you think he would have been allowed to stay on till now? Objectively, he is clearly a shite manager with no redeeming qualities, having us play the worst football that I have ever seen United play.

Christ do you think I think it’s good football?

It depresses me, I just see no benefit replacing the manager when the problems lie elsewhere and for for the first time since fergie I actually like the manager.

Yeah why fix any of the problems? Idiotic thinking. What’s really to like about him. Great player for us, but our worst ever manager. Separate the past from the present and move on. He’s dragging us down to the championship.

So Mane and Salah or the equivalent to Dan James? Okay then... and all the players mentioned improved. Who we improved?

You and your family are going to be disappointed as he will be sacked. You’re talking like this is a season of Game of Thrones.

Why twist the words? It's pointless.

It's fine if you have valid argument or opinion im a big boy I can take it.

I'll give you another position; do you think that our social media has had an impact on our players?, I mean you don't see much of Mane or Salah selling clothes, in the paper or on Instagram - you sign for UTD a boom you have a platform to sell and make money in crazy numbers.

I honestly believe that pogba thinks he's big than the club.

Could not agree more. The thing is nobody is sat here saying Ole is doing amazing and is the answer to all our problems but at the same time there are major issues in this club, above him and within the playing staff.

He no doubt needed more than 3 players, Lukaku should have been replaced, Ed fecked him on that, no doubt in my mind.

It’s so easy to sit and say the manager is at fault for everything, let’s just get another manager, except it hasn’t worked previously since SAF and there even less managers available at this time.

Why is persisting with worst manager we have had post SAF going to help though. I keep seeing people referring to giving him another 2 windows but what difference is that likely to make. January he probably doesn’t get anyone, in the summer at best he’ll probably get 2 players that will improve us that’s about it.

Let’s say we limp through until end of season with Ole, no European football which is most likely scenario. He’ll be seen as a dead man walking and club will be seen as a disaster. We’re then supposed to expect that a recruitment team who struggled already will be able to go out and improve this team in more difficult circumstances.

Take it easy, mate. You might have a stroke or something; you are not even reading words correctly.

Looks like he was banned judging by his Ed post. If that is true I will actually miss his over the top defense for Ole. :D

Did you read what I was replying to? I wasn’t arguing that Ole should be manager I was arguing that he isn’t a money grabbing mercenary that the poster was accusing him of being.

Some of the posts are a disgrace, calling Ole a money grabber, hoping Ed would die slowly of an incurable disease!? But sure, call me out instead for trying to add a bit of fair balance to the argument.

I’ve not once said Ole is the right man for the job however the next manager HAS to be the right one, therefore I would rather see constructive criticism instead of childish nonsense.

 Honestly, the internet these days. Don’t post if this is the best you can do.

All his posts are just as bad. Just another internet hard-man. No substance to any of his arguments. That was the post where he couldn’t hide his true colours anymore even though they’ve been shining through for some time now.

Indeed.

Ole (or any other MUFC manager) would need at least 5 years to get us playing expansive football.
And then there is the league table. Surely a new manager can't come in and have a team in the top 3, within 12 months?
Our manager needs at least 3 years to achieve that and needs to buy the most expensive defender in the World....to achieve 14th place.
And let's not forget the Chelsea had a transfer ban...they're in 4th.

Our standards are now so low, that fans are quite happy to put up with 14th place.
I mean, WTF - 14th place and fans are accepting that this is the way forward!!!
Just thinking of this gets me angry.

14th fecking place.
Fecking relegation battle.

Our next game is against Norwich and I think this is a 6 pointer.

It is disgraceful how far standards have fallen at this club.

This season should destroy any argument for managers needing time.

If a manager is good, you'll be able to notice his stamp on the team fairly quick.

Well we've seen Ole's stamp on the team. It is horrific. We are in the worst state we've ever been in(Post-SAF) and fans aren't revolting at OT.

I want Ed to die of inoperable disease, slowly.
So according to you people who think Ole will not leave until we sack him should be "ashamed of themselves" and then you post this comment about another person?

Can the Ole in Lovers answer these questions please, I've asked this before and it's been ducked.

Roy Hodgson at Liverpool had the club hovering around midtable eventually falling to 12th in the table. At that point, their fans had enough and even sprayed graffiti ''get out of the club'' on their own training ground wall. He was basically hounded out of the club for his incompetence since they were playing stone age football and regressing at an alarming rate whilst flirting with relegation/

He had to contend with interfering owners just like Ole. So he had his own mitigating circumstances.

Now do you Ole in boys believe Liverpool were wrong to sack him after just six months. Were they ignorant for not seeing something that Roy had up his sleeve that he was waiting for the right moment to reveal?

Stuart Pearce as caretaker at City, a club legend within his own right, who had City flying in his first season in charge leading them to finishing in the top 5. then couldn't follow it up the next resulting them being in 14th before getting sacked

Do you Ole fans think their fans were spoilt for wanting rid of these managers? Or do you think had they been given more time and support through funds in the transfer market they'd have become as good as Guardioloa and Klopp is today?

And what about Dalgish, he loved and got Liverpool. Were they disrespectful for sacking him?

Those same Ole supporters where the first to call out Mourinho too I imagine despite us playing better football back then. They are living in some dream world.

Our form is a disgrace. Imagine if we all had a job where it didn’t matter how poorly you performed because you had worked there before?

Alright, fair enough. My bad

I literally want to know whether Ole supporters would have had a similar level of support for any other manager serving up the same shite week in week out who isn't a club legend.

All these bs excuses are coming out purely because of sentiments attached with him. Woodward is a problem, agreed. But it doesn't absolve OGS of any blame. FFS people are defending our performances against Newcastle, Astana, Rochdale etc etc irrelevant clubs. It has come down to this!

I still don't understand how anybody can defend Old and his backroom team of being right for the job. He has shown absolutely nothing since he became manager to suggest he will be a success here

Looks like he was banned judging by his Ed post. If that is true I will actually miss his over the top defense for Ole. :D

Well him and a few others take turns on who does white-knighting for Solskjaer.

Last nights defeat will only make matters worse should we lose to Norwich. I think it will be a drab 1-1 or 0-0, but unless we win then Ole will be right up against it.
After the Liverpool result I thought he was safe from the sack because the media hyped his tactics, but our allergies to the opposition goal mouth is going to be his downfall.
His lack of playing style and direction is plainly obvious. He isn’t playing attacking football and that’s what Woodward himself stated is a requirement during his recent panic press briefings.
Pointless giving him money in January.

That’s your problem. You think football is church. It’s just
Football morals and values are for pu$$£ trying to get a higher ground for failure.

There’s right and wrong reasons for transfers but if you are telling me Neymar a kid from Santos was a stupid idea for Barcelona to sign him based on their more open and visible ‘Barcelona way’ values you’ll have to expend on wrong stuff.

You’re the kid of person who wouldn’t have wanted Ronaldinho here.

Ronaldinho is a super nice bloke though, while Neymar is probably the biggest cnut in football right now. As good as he is, i would not want him anywhere near the club. Plenty of other good players out there who are not insufferable twats. Salah for example. Great player and a great human being. Not that hes available, but someone like that is who we should be looking for

And its not about "selling our soul" or whatever, its about having a harmonious squad free of drama and discontent, which is what Ole has been talking about i recon when he said "hes building a new culture".

That's why the Sanchez transfer was probably the worst thats happened to the club since 2013. Not only was he shite, but hes also a moaning twat and was widely disliked both in Arsenal and here by his teammates. Then you add in his obscene wages that lead us to give out stupid contracts to other players while losing Herrera and it all turned out to be a big clusterfeck

We have signed so many players over the years that are just here for the money and that needs to stop ASAP if we ever are going to hope to get back to where we were. We need players with the right personalities and the right attitudes AND THAT is the key reason why i still cautiously support Ole (despite us being dire), because it seems he has grasped that fact and tries to rebuild us stone by stone instead of just throwing money at the problem and sacrificing long term goals for short term gains.

Its the same with the "core of british players" talk. True, british players often have inflated prices, and i am not trying to sound xenophobic or anything, but imo they are much less likely to jump ship when the Barcelonas and Real Madrids come calling and we are a British club after all.

So no, its not about having some imaginary moral high ground or "the United way" or any of that abstract nonsense. its simply about having a squad of players that will run through walls for the club and who are proud to wear the shirt instead of only caring about their next paycheck or "their brand". That's why Scott is so highly rated, despite being rather average and that is why Ole is focusing on bringing through youth, because those lads "bleed red" sort of speak

This is what is so annoying about Woodward, he knows what he wants but doesn't have a clue on how to implement it; and he won't even hire a DOF to help himself or the club.

We’ve been a media whore since George Best. It’s part of the ‘United Way’ just embrace it. If you come to United your ‘star’ blows up. You personally probably aren’t bossy so don’t like it. But not it doesn’t affect anything. Henderson does his little Nivea adverts I’m sure I seen Salah or Mane on it too. Means nothing.

If we cared more about trying to win titles instead of players social lives maybe our personal standards right now wouldn’t be so low.

Didn't Sir Alex actively protest against twitter during his time? He also threatened bans from his own players. Not exactly endorsing the club as a social media whore there.

Weren't we also notoriously late to get a revamp on our app? Our own YouTube channel came way later than others too. Doesn't really smell of being a media whore during his time. To me it all came about when Woodward became more prominent.

We didn't have a twitter account until 2013. Youtube channel came in 2018.

You sound so defeatist. Ronaldinho was a party animal hence the reason why he’s reign at the top didn’t last as long as it should. Remember Pep removed him. Neymar’s performance levels haven’t dropped he’s just playing in a B league. Why do you care about ‘twats’ do you think when we was successful we was a ‘twat’ free squad. Have you listened to Roy Keane? Peter Schmeichel? The culture is about bringing in players that want to be successful. Either way why are they going to stay if we aren’t what they optimise.. I.e. success. It’s all stupid.

British core is just a waste of finances and quite frankly we’ve wasted enough money as it is. The reason we only got 3 players is because we blew the bag on 2 inflated British players and yet I don’t see us going forward. So what was the point.
