I was not saying Ole In Baby, he can do it if someone else has do the job for him. Ole should leave, as it's clear that there is a very real problem at the club and the players can't do or don't understand what they've been asked to do by the coaches. Yes it his responsibility to tell the coaches in a clearer manner what he wants. BUT....as I was saying, right now, the club clearly do not want to sack him, so if we aren't going to sack him, replace his coaches, who can implement what he wants, which is what Souness actually suggested at the weekend.
"If the board had made their mind up, keep with Ole and that's the game plan for this year, maybe beyond, the manager needs different people around him to point out, what he himself is not seeing, because, cos that's as plain as the nose at the end of your face" 5mins +
So I'm sorry if I don't share your same opinion on the matter, but delusion is stretch, I was simply giving an opinion on what the club can do if they decide to stick by their man, which again, it seems as though they are doing.
Think it was mentioned a while back that the players said his coaching sessions were like being coached by a schoolteacher.I mean no shit. We’ve literally taken a youth team coach and promoted them to being a first team coach. What did they expect?
Again, you ignore that he's literally at the bottom of the barrel of managers. He's the one who needs to go learn from a manager. No coach is coming in and doing his job for him. You keep ignoring this and parroting it away like it's an option.
It was an option two years ago. Then the curtain fell and the world saw that he has no managerial qualities whatsoever. Coaches aren't going to put their career on the line to come in and continue their career under him.
You realize that's what assistant coaches do right? They're there to learn and support the vision of the manager. They need someone to give them a vision, Ole doesn't have one. He doesn't even take charge of his training sessions despite it being overwhelmingly clear the players aren't playing the way he says he "want" to play (I put want in quotations because what he says and what he does are two completely different things).
You think someone competent is coming here to learn how to set up cones for us when they could go learn from any number of a brilliant managers across Europe? Stop ignoring that point.
So Souness can't give an opinion can he? Because he failed as manager means he loses all analytic ability of the world of football that he spent years upon years playing and studying? Souness can be criticised for a lot but his knowledge of football is far greater than mine or yours.
That's not always the case, it's well known that when SAF was struggling in Europe, he brought in Queiroz, who, is a large reason as to why we were so successful in Europe during SAF's reign, Queiroz ran the training sessions too! SAF learned off him!
So it's not always the coaches learning off of the manager.
The coaches coach and the managers manage.
But Southgate and Deschamps can? C'mon man...and the players can't do or don't understand what they've been asked to do by the coaches.
PE teacher?Think it was mentioned a while back that the players said his coaching sessions were like being coached by a schoolteacher.
I hope we don’t jump on temporarily or caretaker solution. Let Ole stay until they found a permanent solution.
They don’t want to replace him, like at all. They’re digging for any excuse not to sack him. He’s on his about his 10th chance.i mean what is the point of this when clearly they want to replace him/should replace him? If we eke out a win against spurs he just delays the inevitable. Like telling your girlfriend you want to see other people but how about we go out tonight and see how it goes while i continue to look around at other options.
And if we lose to spurs are they really gonna keep him around for next two after that? And if not then congrats now your caretaker has no time to prepare for a big game in UCL to save our champions league aspirations. Madness really.
Wasn't talking about Souness, was talking about Ole. I didn't watch the video you posted because every point you've made has been the delusional ideas of someone who still actually wants Ole as manager.
First of all stop comparing the failure of Ole to the greatest manager in history. Just stop. It's disrespectful and pathetic. Secondly, he did lead training ground practices. He stopped when he was older BECAUSE he was already successful and had the pull to bring in young positive coaches across Europe. OLE CANNOT do that because he has no pedigree. Why are you having trouble understanding this?
But Southgate and Deschamps can? C'mon man...
i mean with all the conte links and them clearly searching out other options part of them do, and i added the should to cover the others ha. But overall once you begin to go down this path really no point delaying it.They don’t want to replace him, like at all. They’re digging for any excuse not to sack him. He’s on his about his 10th chance.
Are you on a wind up? I didn't tout them as potential successors ffs. My point is it's not at all on these world class players that they don't "get" the coaches'/manager's instructions. The staff is clearly clueless in that department. Just look at how poorly executed our press is and why we persist with not Bruno playing CF and wingers not tracking back. Bang average managers like the ones I mentioned have more coaching ability and tactical know how..I didn't mention anything about Southgate or Deschamps? But if we are discussing them as potential managers for the club, I wouldn't be inspired by Southgate and both of those would bring in their own team so their coaches would, you'd expect, know what they want from their team and implement it accordingly.
There's a few things going on with Ole/The coaches. It's either:
The coaches don't understand Ole's ideas and are implementing it the best they can, or they way that they're interpreting the ideas. Which is down to Ole correcting them.
The coaches do understand Ole's ideas and the ideas are just plain shite
Conte is not coming, I’d bet a lot of money on that. There’s too much noise about resevervations/board being split on his appointment. They want Ole to do just enough to justify keeping him til the end of the season, if he gets top 4 he’s not going anywhere at all.i mean with all the conte links and them clearly searching out other options part of them do, and i added the should to cover the others ha. yeah at this point id be shocked if a change is made. American owners prob see the table and think oh we are only a couple games out of 4th, not actually understanding how things work or been watching our overall shit form. Although i think the wildcard is the spurs game in the fact that if he loses that i just cant see how he continues after that knowing city will also beat us.Conte is not coming, I’d bet a lot of money on that. So you're saying it might not be that bad if City put 10 past us when we meet them? good to know.Liverpool might regret not scoring more against us if they lose the league on GD.
That would actually be pretty funny. For them to win nothing and lose the league on goal difference would be supreme theater. Thanks for the slight chink of light in the neverending darkness.Liverpool might regret not scoring more against us if they lose the league on GD.
The great managers/coaches adapt and progress. Moyes couldn't adapt to United and McKenna is stuck in his academy football ways.
A bit like signing the Everton's manager and then being surprised that we turned into Everton.

He's not interested, was said today by Ogden I think.I know that it’s a very long short, but United should do everything to sign Enrique now. And if the World Cup is the problem, then we should appoint a caretaker manager and wait for him.
Paul McKenna might be a good fit.Probably swap McKenna for some ex player that knows the score and remembers a bit of the senior coaching.
