Nearly 3 years and we still serve same crap every week. Squad with an amazing potential severely handicapped by our coaching staff. He is our Arteta. Imagine what a good manager could do with this team.

Arteta is dog shit, Ole is far better than him.

He's our Lampard basically, handicapping the squad because he's not good enough for this level.

A draw is a loss, a win is a loss. Calls for his sack immediately after an (admittedly bad) win. It is so tedious.

Posters in here are fuming over Greenwood scoring that goal. And all of them United supporters :p
No one is fuming over a united win. It's the performance that worries us and it is becoming a trend with Ole. I'm really worried that we have so many players in their prime and they will be wasted with this coaching team when the opportunity is there for a fantastic season.

We are going to waste the most talented squad we've had in a decade on this fraud.

Imagine what a top class manager could do with these players?

Arteta? Feck sake.
Cmon now.

He hasn't and he will not.

You’re right. Perfect time to bring this up after a 1-0 late winner away from home. What a great time to mention that fact, a fact that will not change from now until at least March.

When discussing a game where we won late on, I always think back to Ole’s inability to beat Man City to a premier league title last year. That seems like a not mental thing to bring up right now.

He's the Fred of football managers. He's satisfactory at his job but imagine what we could do with a better appointment. Anyway, today's game isn't gonna change anyone's opinion on whether they are Ole in or Ole out.

The more world class players we add will only make it more evident that Ole is out of his depth. He might be a great guy, polite, man manager, motivator, transfer guru, United DNA etc but at the end of the day he's a poor coach and mediocre tactician. Back to back games he's been shown up by Lage and Hasenhuttl.

There's no way you can watch City, Chelsea and Liverpool and say our manager isn't the problem with a straight face.

That was poor. We were disjointed and had absolutely nothing in midfield.

He's made a habit of these. It needs to stop.

New manager in a new league with an average team played us out of the park at times, surprised not exactly. Yes there is a whole in midfield but if we had a much better manager what a top top club deserves we would have been good with what we have now. It's the approach to (non) defending as a team as a defensive unit that is shambles, can't believe he couldn't adress them in 3 fecking years here. Attacking players will bail him out and we will still be crusing around that second place thanks to insane individual ability of some of the most talented players in the world.

I said it before but will say it again, whoever thinks we improved, keep your opinion, the improvement was always on with some of the young players maturing, hitting hteir peak. We are wasting potentially our best generation since the class of 92. Either hire a tactical coach (not that we don't have like 5 already) who knows how to play the pressing game of this century or retire. It's really tiring to see team full of talent week in week out, without any cohesion and chemistry.. Pass it to Luke Shaw or hoof it up is our only tactic at times..

Oh ole, why are you so out of your depth. He better hope Ronaldo carries his ass to a trophy or he will be back managing Molde.

He was very lucky to come away with a win today. A draw would have even been a half-decent result based on that first half. The midfield was carved wide open time and time again and he didn't seem to have a solution to that.

I like the guy, but it really is the time to deliver now. There's more than enough talent in the squad to do something with it, so the performances, quality of football, and results all have to improve. He got lucky with the result today, but the next game has to be a much better overall performance.

Delighted with the win. However, coming up to 3 years as manager, we haven’t progressed as much as we should despite the significant investment in the squad. Tactically we are so poor & we rely too much on individual brilliance. It’s not good enough & won’t lead to winning the big trophies. We have next to no idea how to beat the press, no idea how to breakdown a team that sits behind the ball. Just hope that one counter attack goes our way or one moment of magic can get us a goal. It’s like they don’t get coached in training.

I would say the reason Neville is so reluctant to say Ronaldo will lead us to the title is he knows the manager is not good enough & has shown nothing to suggest he’s going to get us to a PL or CL win. Give this squad to our rival managers & there would be an expectation to win titles. I’m certain these type of performances would be few & far between. We seem to have these performances in 3/5 games. Ole has to win a trophy this year or needs to go.

Yeah this is it. If we can't develop as a team or win anything he has to go. We have the players now.

I know what you mean. Have we got ANY proof at all that our manager can outperform the Liverpool manager over the course of a season? Seriously, is there ANY reason to think that?

Klopp didn't win against 10 man Chelsea last night.

Yes you can. You could literally apply all those points to SAF too. He often got showed up in games when teams kept it tight and we won the 12-13 season constantly coming back to win 3-2.

How the hell we bought Sancho for 80M, and then he decided to played James on the right? Sancho played on the left whereas Pogba has played on the left very well on 2 previous games. Anyone can see how the team improved when James came off the pitch bar him and the coaching team? What a "masterpiece" decision. He already had 3 years here and we still could see nothing of his tactic!!! or we still in his infinity "Progresssss"? Sick of our legends.

Another crap performance. Don't know how we can be so clueless with the ball. Its so easy to play against us. Press us high and we just shit.

He's to focused on the names, why does he continue playing Pogba as a deep midfielder? Poor Fred was getting run ragged left and center.

If I had to sum up his managerial career - names. He signs the big names for big money - AWB, Maguire, Sancho, Varane, VDB, Bruno. The smaller priced signings like James, Diallo, Pellestri have been poor.

But to build a proper team you have to make sure the team fit is right. How can you leave the midfield completely empty?

At least he hasn't benched Greenwood though.

It’s Oles team now and packed with talent. Losses and draws I can cope with but this repeatedly awful play, bad passing and disjointed attack is up to him to sort. The better the team he builds, and he has built a good team, the fewer places he has to hide when it comes to our performances.

As are these posts. Do you honestly think we should look at a poor performance and just say "it doesn't matter", particularly when these performances and poor coaching are happening on a regular basis?
