I thought the red bulls were average. But, he and our players should learn how WBs should be playing.

We’re going nowhere.

No consistency and scraping wins on a weekly basis it’s just awful.

It's very worrying how uncoached our defending looks like at the start of games. Every game our players look like they need to relearn their defensive positions for the first 30 minutes.

We know everything we're going to know about him. This is just more of the same. He's tried his best but, sadly, it isn't good enough. It probably won't ever be. I hope that when the end comes, as it will within the next 12 months, I suspect, that it's handled with a bit of respect and dignity.

Out with a 3-2 loss in Germany after needing only 1 win in the last 2 games. No better than Van Gaal then.

the team look lost for large parts of games, and today was no different

after two years in charge this shouldn't be the case

there are lots of positives in what he's done, but don't think he has enough to take us any further

It's getting to the point of no return for him, starting Shaw and Telles was ridiculous, ending up with Williams left back and he's had next to no football this season. There's just no excuse for some of his management.

Obviously the defence are pure shite and the keeper is a bit cowardly but my god, his in game management is atrocious.

Time to go Ole

The usual shite from a rookie manager trying to learn the job at our expense, starting with 7 defensive players pinned in your own half against a far inferior squad. This time VAR, luck, or a players individual brilliance couldn't bail him out though.

I'll continue to support Ole. But I maintain that I'd rather he was replaced now. We do some great stuff as a team but there are way too many questionable selections and/or decisions.

He let us down by trying to set-up defensively. Manchester United attack. We wouldn't get through any other way and for that reason we deserve to be out of the CL.

To be fair, his in game management rectified a lot of the selection problems. We got two goals after those changes.

I think it was fair enough not starting or bringing Pogba on at HT. Big issues with how we set up, I feared we were going to be negative and it cost us.

His decision to take off Telles and then take off Shaw not long after was baffling. Switching Tuanzebe for Lindelof made little sense too.

All round shit show.

It's sad all our 3 losses in the group were from either amateur defending or coaching decisions. The 1st goal we conceded away to Istanbul. Missing sitters against psg and the failure to sub out Fred. Today we gave Leipzigs top goal scorer all the freedom in the world.

I’m wavering. It’s starting to look as if the writing is on the wall for him.

Got it wrong and bottled it tonight, still nearly escaped though which kind of sums up mess we are in. This cycle could drag on for another year or two.

We had a dubious penalty awarded and a pogba header that looked very like a handball from that waster Maguire. Hardly makes him a tactical genius now does it.

That was shambolic defensive organisation and inexcusable in my eyes.

I couldn't figure out who was playing in what role from watching the tele. I can't imagine what it was like on the pitch.

All the big talk before the game. ‘United don’t play for draws’. Then he picks 7 defensive players. And uses 3 of his subs to bring on defenders.

Talked himself into the job playing the "United way" should be out now for playing the Jose way in the first half with five at the back and two defensive midfielders but without his nous or ability to organise. One of many mistakes United have made since Sir Alex, was dumping Jose instead of Pogba.

Losing to Leipzig isnt a problem but the manner in which we did doesnt sit well with me.

At the start of the game, Ole said we were going to attack but the starting XI showed otherwise and it showed in our peformance.

Bit shit because based on the second half, this was a game we could have won nevermind drawing. Not only that, but we steamrolled them 5-0 at home and they're known to concede chances.

Im not going to be too hard on Ole because more often than not he gets it right in the bigger games but its safe to say he didnt tonight.

The game against City probably arrives at the right time.

A win will lift the team and fans, following our exit from the UCL tonight.

He got it wrong tonight. Poor team selection and tactics.

He’s constantly learning stuff we’ve seen as fans for years. Don’t sit back when you need a draw, rule number 1.

Ole: Starts with 7 defensive players and we go 0-3 down.

Pure mourinho tactics tonight as well. Either get a penalty, free kick or corner. Hilarious really.

He needs specialist coaches, imo if United is still going to back him for a couple years more.

I am not sure his coaching staff is good enough.

Best day the club will have since winning the league is the day he's gone.

He's bullshitted his way into the job, bullshitting his way in the job and hopefully he's gone. I'd take David Moyes again which tells you bad he is

So even the more conservative and patient posters are turning.

We've already figured out the most logical* plan of action (in some thread or other): sack him, DoF comes in starting as a caretaker - new man secured early (arrives in summer) enough time for DoF to prepare the ground.

*in the sense of footballing ambitions

Its not all his fall. But its clear that he does not have what it takes. He has to go.

He's hopeless.

Also, what the hell was those changes about? Apart from Pogba, they were all pointless.

Game of the season (so far). Wrong lineup, wrong formation, wrong subs, wrong approach, wrong game plan. One mistake is costly in these kibd of games but to do them all?

That last 15 minutes was so lifeless, still no substitute even after the majority of the team played vs Leipzig. It's like he isn't paying attention. I don't understand why he has about to bring Matic on for Fred, after the McTominay Matic combination failed so miserably vs Leipzig mid week. I don't understand why we haven't seen the Fred, DVB, Bruno combination since it played incredibly well vs Basaksehir, the best 45 minutes of football this season. There's so many basic inconsistencies, no wonder Man Utd are so inconsistent on the pitch with Solskjaer as manager.

Disappointed he didn’t make some positive subs, you have a bench of world class attackers fecking use them.

Also Rashford was so so poor, take him off.
