He scored a hat trick against Luxembourg. In club terms that's like a Hat trick against Shrewsbury.
He wouldn't have even scored 1 against Luxembourg with today's chances.

When you do that with footballer managers, like you said about Ole, I've kept really quiet in this thread but I'll tell you something, you went down in my estimation when you said thatIf he cared, he would realise he is not up to the job, that his coaches are not up to the job. I would respect him for that. Kevin Keegan quit the England job because he didn't think he was good enough to do it and he was a better coach and manager than Ole.
Goodness me, I can actually picture this. Xavi sitting on the bench because he can't cover enough ground and can't tackle.Ole doesnt care about midfielders, they only need to have legs and run around. He'd bench prime Xavi for Fred, as he has no uses to the way he wants to play.

I tell you I will love it, love it if we beat Atalanta
very true....If we were playing like Keegan's Newcastle it would be a bit more palatable.
He will not resign. He wants money, and he will get it one way or the other. He loves money more than he loves the Club. He he'd rather earn 15 million quid and see us win feck all under him than resign. The myth needs to die. Ole is just another manager, but unlike top managers he is out of his depth.
That's very debatable.Same, never wanted him or any ex-player. It took ages to sack Jose, I knew it will be worse with an ex-player. And worse if they are likeable like Ole.
Why? too world class to fit in?Ronaldo and Pogba need to be benched.

Why? too world class to fit in?
Serious question that I've wondered for a while. Does Utd have a problem with player cliques?
Seems like players that you'd think would be great for the team just don't work out and don't fit in just far too often.
Seems like the manager isn't strong enough to make players do what he wants. Is that the result?

You wonder if bringing Ronaldo is actually hindering Bruno. I think he is a bit in awe of him. He was the main man. Why? too world class to fit in?

WtfRonaldo doesn't press, which would be fine if everyone else was pressing but that isn't the case. Pogba more often than not doesn't press and when he does he's shit at it.
In midfield both bruno and pogba cannot play specially when ronaldo is also in the team upfront. Ole is playing all three of them and our midfield is getting dominated by mid table teams.
We were never a pressing team. That’s my biggest gripe - that was the original plan and we kind of tried it just gave up. We rank lower than Mou’s United for pressing stats, let that sink in, it’s clearly not part of the plan and that’s data from last season. The Athletic even did an article on it. Now with Ronaldo we’ll be even lower.Surely Ronaldo has to give ? We’re no longer a pressing team and after the initial hype has died down he really looks so old all of a sudden.
the difference cavani made in the press when he came on in that CL game was crazy
As a player yes. As a manager I'll just remember him as helping us heal after Jose and being our manager when Liverpool won the league.Ole will remain a club legend until the end of time.
He’s going to resign.
Wtf…..we don’t press as a team but let’s blame two individuals

Of course it does.He should be praised for the first part of your statement but the latter has no bearing on his time with us.

Having seen more of his personality as a manager, I don't find him likeable. Quite the opposite actually.Very debatable.
Are you for real, we may want a change of manager but Ole will remain a club legend until the end of time.
Honestly people take things too far.

Ronaldo and pogba will never press therefore bench them and get the starting xi to press as a team. Fixing the issue requires certain players to be benched.
Because if one doesn't press, the team doesn't press. Let alone two.
No longer a pressing team. As If some have never watched us play. Our 'press' has always been an utter joke.

We weren't a pressing team when Ronaldo was at Juventus and Pogba injured. Ole has no intention to implement a pressing game.

Without them we don’t press as a team…are you blind?Because if one doesn't press, the team doesn't press. Let alone two.
We're fecked then.
What’s he going to do? Drop Ronaldo, Pogba or both? Play only McFred from now on?
We're fecked then.
I think pogba has to give personally, we need V.D.B who will give us a far better balance in midfield of teamwork and creativity.
We then have to play mctom as the single dm, as matic simply isn't up to the task anymore.
If that doesn't work than it will be Ole that gives, why he decided to go with matic and pogba today is anyones guess? Everytime they play together we get overun in midfield, in fact generally speaking even if you just play one of them we get overun in midfield.
If Ole doesn't wake up and smell the roses with pogba and matic and bin them both off where possible then he's signing his P45.
We have never pressed properly under Ole, not sure why Ronaldo is suddenly a material problem in the team press now.Ronaldo and pogba will never press therefore bench them and get the starting xi to press as a team. Fixing the issue requires certain players to be benched.
