Ronaldo doesn't press, which would be fine if everyone else was pressing but that isn't the case. Pogba more often than not doesn't press and when he does he's shit at it.
In midfield both bruno and pogba cannot play specially when ronaldo is also in the team upfront. Ole is playing all three of them and our midfield is getting dominated by mid table teams.

This is the crux of it. Bruno seems to have a sort of free role, Ronaldo certainly does, and then Pogba doesn't excel at the defensive stuff.
You can't fit all 3 in. When you put Matic who hasn't had the legs for years in there as well it's a perfect storm.
Emergency step for Liverpool is making sure McFred come back in. And most likely going back to an almost Jose style defensive shape, and trying to get them on the break, now Rashford is back.
Without Ronaldo and Pogba we don't press either. You need proper coaches and a manager to implement a proper press.
We weren't a pressing team when Ronaldo was at Juventus and Pogba injured. Ole has no intention to implement a pressing game.

The top reds are now at the stage where they must admit we're playing incoherently but don't want to blame it on the manager/rest of the coaching staff so the plan is to blame new players. Anyone with any resemblance of a brain would know that our press has never been good. Sure we've had patches where certain players do it (or at least attempt to) but it's always been completely random without any plan. Bruno especially, he loves going on a sprint towards a defender randomly then they just pass it right through our midfield.

People seem to have gone from underrating Cavani, to massively overrating him.
