As a bowler Morne is definitely better. Malinga's 30 tests are too few as well. His test career never blossomed. At this stage I don't know/remember your other bowlers but ya, maybe to ensure variety you can choose Malinga.

Is Malinga's sub continent record significantly better than Morne?

My other bowlers are Holding/Waqar/Donald -M.Ahmed
Morkel is better bowler compared to Malinga, combination of certain factors made me to stay with Malinga, he also got better strike rate and statistically better record in sub continent.

Yeah, I was surprised at first but you already have three ace fast bowlers so choosing according to the conditions makes sense.
