I guess we wait till Varun replies. I'd suggest you hold off on the picks till he decides.

Getting to make two picks now seems a little unfair since Akshay probably had planned what picks to make and that goes for those around him in the snake as well. You can make the 7th placed pick now and then the snake can presume as normal ?

If I picked now it would not be a 7th pick, right? Irrespective of place in order it'd be a 14th pick at best.

If I had picked in turn at 7th, I'd have gotten 7th and 24th picks. If I pick right now in order I'd get 14th and 15th picks. By your suggestion, I'd get 14th and 24th picks.... worse than normal at both the positions! Considering importance of first two rounds that would be massive disadvantage.

If Akshay was really particular, I can pick before him now and he can have two picks together at last. Getting last or penultimate positions is all the same to me. Varun and Akshay can decide either way (assuming I'm in the game ofc).

Ok, that makes sense. I suggested you being the 7th drafter because even if @The Red Viper were to make an appearance in the next day or two, he'd already be at a massive disadvantage since he would lose his early picks which are as you mentioned crucial. It would be no fun for him at all. If that's the case, then yeah, you being the 16th drafter is better off in the interest of fairness.

Will have to wait for Varun to confirm though.
 
Look let's not redraw and do all this again. Its simple just join as someone's assistant. We already added one player after the draft started. Let's not add another one. The picks are already messed up as it is.

EAP why don't you replace red viper? Make one pick now and Akshay can pick another and so on
