I think the point is whoever get blocked has a complete field to chose from. Akram for instance was always getting blocked in the opening round but now they might get him uncontested.

Ideally, we should have stuck with the initial 3 options. Can't change the rules now but something for the future.

Well yeah, the system isn't really perfect. It got even more fecked as guys got lucky. We can work out how to do it better if we try this again, sure.

Sticking with the initial picks makes payers think more sense imo. Stops people from stuffing their picks with all the good players to start ff with knowing they will always get a second bite.

Yup, agreed. Not letting players change the pool would have made more sense.

I believe that was once your pools are submitted and disclosed, though even that seemed weird to me. But before choosing the pools if you discuss to avoid sheep it defeats the entire purpose really.

I'm not saying that is okay to do nor did I do it myself I'm just saying it is different from what I was pointing out. I wouldn't allow any discussions whatsoever if I was running something like this but Varun wanted a bit of WW-like drama in it I guess. :D

Nah. Too much of a risk considering you could pick Sachin too and then his pick would've been failed especially when he could take Sir Viv easily.

That's a logical guess. I'd be surprised if it's anything apart from that.

I was never gonna go for him when I had two other uncontested players in my pool. Maybe I left Sachin unblocked just to let him know at the end that he had the option to pick either Viv or Sachin. :D

I was VERY close to picking Sachin over Viv as a risk. If I didn't have to play a sheep, I would have chanced it

Probably. Just saying it isn't completely impossible that Sachin was picked in R1, I guess we can conclude that much for the moment.

Well if NM isn't a lying cnut then looks like we've got him. Unless you have got him which is unlikely as NM thought you've got a strong team.
