ODI Sheep draft - Strict deadlines from now

Criteria 8
Criteria 8 -

Pick a player with over 4000 runs or 150 wickets in ODIs.

Pick 1, block 1.

Sort your teams out wrt quality and balance, I dont want to give easy criterias in the last few rounds :D

Botham is decent at best in ODIs. Not the same monster he was in tests. Maybe that's why no one went for him. But a good bowling option nonetheless

redtiger wins this round with Clive Lloyd and Miandad. Followed closely by crappy with Inzy and cairns and Interval/KM
with KP and Huss though.

@Aldo's MO is insane though Kohli is best at 3.

Yuvi, Hussey, AbD and Flintoff beats his MO.

Greg Chappell was excellent and is maybe better Hussey (par at worst). Kohli is better than yuvi and ABD is better than Jones. Overall it's slightly better.

Though yes Fred s an excellent bat and can be an asset. I would play him at 7 however trying for another batsman at 6

Botham was good in the 1992 world cup and he was past his prime there. Took 4 wickets against Australia in a match winning spell. Not a monster by any means but with Donald, Holding, he'll be a good first change bowler and gives my batting more balance. Even if Beefy takes two wickets a game for me, you know he has it in his locker to take any batsman out when he is in the mood and that is enough for me.

Yeah he was brilliant and was almost unplayable in WC-92 and an useful batsmen, and have you decided on where to play him?

Not sure yet mate. Guys can I request an extension deadline - should be back by 6pm, but need to visit mum at hospital (will be back very latest at 8pm).

You can take the hypothetical match win already if you want.

With all due respect, only AB comes close to an ODI legend like Jones, let alone Virat, in my team and no chance I'd swap them.

Nostalgia beats performances these days.

No, driving your team to world cup wins instead of choking beats it.

Yuvi. World Cup 2011. Rings a bell? Which of your player even matched that impact.

No but the player is born in 1940, so he must be better than the current player. Zz.

I was talking about his overall play. He was one of the best all rounders ever in Tests. At ODI he is a good bowler. Not that great with the bat in this format.

Picked now. So if anyone has been waiting, carry on.
