Some shocking accusations/admissions from the British undercovers in N.I. on BBC at the moment. Drive by shootings of unarmed civilians by some complete scumbags.

No, not at all. I am somewhat surprised by the sheer brazenness of the "soldiers" being interviewed though. Basically admitting to murder as if it was acceptable.

And people wonder why the likes of McClean don't wear a poppy. This is disgraceful stuff.

He really should go by a codename of some sort on here. I actually didn't want to post his name

It's nothing the nationalist community hasn't been aware of for decades.

That scumbag who opened fire on those teenagers was given a promotion and ended up winning an award for bravery. Says it all about how the british state and their armed forces valued nationalist lives.

To be honest I am surprised the IRA lasted as long as they did with all the factions they were up against; Loyalists, Army, the RUC and these secret b specials roaming about shooting anything that moved.

A lot of Strabane people on my facebook are complaining that the journo let them off the hook and gave them the chance to 'justify' their actions.

They sit there describing how their unit murdered innocent people and showed not even the tiniest shred of guilt. One of them said he was proud of his actions and would do it all over again.

Total and utter cowards they are and they don't have a shred of decency in them.

if this ever kicks off again beardy there might want to buy a razor

They were all supposed to be in disguise for that programme. That one was probably the best disguised. The other two would be clearly recognisable.

Terrible act if true.
I'm also glad that David Cameron has ruled out a proposal by Northern Ireland’s attorney general to end prosecutions of murders committed by terrorists from both sides of the community. A murder is a murder.
This will obviously mean this sort of act by the army will not go unpunished as well.

"if true" "terrorists" "both sides" how positively typical to muddy the waters and not just condemn condemn what you see.

Pity ignore doesn't work on the phone.

I take it that's a dig at me
Grow up.

What these men failed or just refused to acknowledge was how their actions served merely to further divide the two communities, the consequences of which we are still enduring today. We'll never know but how many shootings by republicans in loyalist areas where misguided retaliations for the actions of the MRF? They cannot abdicate responsibility for the role that their actions played in entrenching the conflict.

Balls. Any further information?

Victoria street - suspicious vehicle.

I think the police were pretty aware of it and evacuated/ closed down the area. Hopefully it was a controlled explosion and no one has been hurt.

Aye, thank God no-one was injured, but the damage from this goes beyond broken bones and deaths. An attack of this kind coming up to the busiest shopping time of the year is a low low act and an attack on all the people of Belfast. Scumbags.

Forgot to say this earlier, but I have an acquaintance who works within Irish officialdom and he has raised suspicions of a false flag event and the possibility of British Intelligence being involved. It's only his personal suspicions though and nothing official.

Only serves to strengthen the suspicions above. After all the other bombs and attempts how come this happens this time?

I guess the majority of bomb scares aren't right in the city centre. Especially as it's the run up to Christmas I don't think it's so strange that security is being ramped up. What would be the goal of some sort of false flag conspiracy?

What's the goal in any of them? To distract, to validate and to justify past and future actions.

As I said, I'm a total sceptic and I think the most likely culprits are the usual suspects.
