Where did you hear that from ?I think he'll go this summer if Real stump up the money, from what ive heard there are a few in their squad that want to leave this summer.

Wasn’t Mbappé a free transfer? What money? They've spent it all on Mbappé.
Wasn’t Mbappé a free* transfer?
Who, Squires?Guy on the Guardian labelled him Scandi Carroll.
Just a commenter. I liked it and wanted to give credit where it's due.Who, Squires?
*Definition of free varies, but if used, does not include huge sign on bonus
Aye, it's brilliantJust a commenter. I liked it and wanted to give credit where it's due.
Come on 38 goals this season isn’t it?Defenders have adapted, he's not that difficult to cancel out.

He really didn't happen today. I have no clue what Peps plan for the game was. I mean it must have been obvious that we are going to sit deep and make it extremely tight. Why start with him and not Alvarez...

Thanks.I mean Raheem Sterling scored over 30 in a Pep City side.

If that was the plan, then they really did a bad job getting into crossing positions. I don't think, that was the plan. My only assumption is that Pep really thought he could just overcome us through the middle. Had a look at average positioning, City was extreme bunched up in the middle. It was making it even harder for him as his players were so close to each other they had no idea where to be.The plan was crosses, and they kinda abandoned it when I thought he was nearly in a couple of times from them.
But he really had one. I think, we struggled with him and Dokus close control. I was a bit suprised that Pep didn't start with at least one of them. Also the Gvardiol decision wasn't rectified, he was the one having at least some space but as a CB he obviously was very limited in his abilities.Alvarez probably missed City's best chance
They’re only really good against open teams. Fernandes showed De Bruyne up todayBoth him and De Bruyne have been poor in many games this season. De Bruyne looks past his best to me.

Yea against teams who struggle to defend vs the whole City team, but vs teams who get their structure together, hes often not a problem. He's scored a lot of goals for someone who's not that difficult to cancel out.
He just doesn't look all that fit to me. A bit sluggish.
Paradoxically Haaland would look a far better player at a different club while scoring far fewer goals I reckon. He stands out like a sore thumb in a side that prioritises possession and careful build up play over everything else.
Would have done very well in Klopp's Liverpool side.
