The further the Oilers get in this years Cup, the more likely hood that I'll be able to purchase more Oilers merchandise over here in the UK. Trying to find Oiler stuff is like trying to find someone who'll suggest Theodore is a good goalie.
why don't you go to shop.nhl.com?

Because of the shipping costs!!! There is a hockey shop around 7 or 8 miles away, which I go in on regular occasions, but they hardly ever get Oiler stuff in as they aren't a "popular" team as such. A long run into the finals and every chance we'll get some more stuff.

I have friends in Edmonton who would get me some stuff, the only problem with that is in return I'd have to send them stuff back from here. Which really grates me, for me to get Oiler stuff, means I'd have to line the pockets of the Glazer's which I don't want to do.

yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaww.
another massive 3rd period, the oilers seem to be improving with every game,
just would like to see them take an early lead and then dominate for a change, all this come from behind stuff ain't good for the nervous system.:nervous: :nervous: :D :D

Tribec - did you sign up for the newsletter? sometimes they will have offer eg. buy more than $200 for free shipping and stuff like that.

I do look out for offers, and would have made use of some of them during the lock out when things were cheap, but I had someone in go on holiday to Toronto and they got me a few items back.

The hockey shop I go too has got a couple of the McFarlane series figure's for me at the mo, a classic Oiler Gretzky and a Hemsky. The thing that I need most is a new cap, but I've just found out my bro-in-law is off to Canada in the next week or so, guess what the order is going to be.

Not putting any pressure upon ourselves like, but the hopes of the Canadian nation now rests on the shoulders of the copper and blue once more. Normally in these situations we haven't failed to deliver for you, but don't get on our backs if we don't this year.

I want the Sabres in the finals, as it would continue the animal theme of the Oilers play-off run. Gotta keep everything going the same, superstions win Stanley cups.....

that's called 'don't underestimate the underdog'!!

Well good luck Oilers...the only Canadian team left in the playoffs.......

I've got relatives in Canada, and although they lived in Victoria BC, when we went out there in 88, we got caught in hockey fever. They somehow managed to get some tickets for what turned out to be the cup winning game in Edmonton. So my cousin, dad and myself went to see the game, it was my first hockey game in the flesh, and watching the dynasty team was enough to make me an Oiler.

Glory hunter turned into loyal fan......

New jersey's out.
so it's Canes vs. Sabres for the eastern conference final

we can do this i'm sure,we've been strongest in the 3rd in these playoffs, just need to keep our heads and stay out of the box.
