Ah, got it. Didn't know all that, if there truly was a choice between Subban and Therrien, they have picked this one wrong all right. Weber is one of the best in the league and even with all the years under his belt, for a D-man 31 yrs is nothing.

But in my opinion Subban was a "franchise player" for the organization and the city can imagine the Habs fans getting angry over this trade.
 
Subban for Weber seems reasonable compared to the deal between the Oilers and Devils....... Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson, straight swap :eek::wenger: Something has had to have happened Chia is claiming it's just business, but I'm guessing that Hall asked to leave or he was a cancer in the dressing room. There can be no other reason to trade him so cheaply.

Now that is another weird move to say the least :eek: Was looking forward to seeing Puljujärvi play with Hall.
