@Rado_N Is there a chance to trade 2 first rounds for Cousins, you can keep Miller? Thank you in advance.

I can't fecking wait for the games this weekend.

Prediction: Colts, Rams, Chargers and Saints (or at least that's what I'd like to see).

My predictions also.

The game that’s just a straight toss-up for me is Cowboys Rams.

The problem is the Rams don’t really match up well against the Cowboys.

I'd commit Vander Esch, Smith and Lawrence to stop Gurley and dare Goff to beat me through the air, he's been erratic the last few weeks. Rams' front 7 is not a great run stopping unit either so Zeke should dominate if the Cowboys want to have any chance to advance.

I feel like the Colts are a bit overhyped by now - Around the NFL made a good point in their preview that everyone tends to forget just how great the teams on a bye did during the regular season while the red hot Wild Card teams get backed a lot during that period, but I can just as well see the Chiefs come flying out of the gate. In that game, I think both offenses are great but I trust the Colts' D a lot more than Chiefs D, especially since their strength lies up front with Ford, Houston and Jones but the Colts' O-line is simply amazing right now.

Eagles are not trading Wentz . Value is irrelevant because they are just not going to trade him. Media has such an incredible way of shaping agendas , Foles playing average with the team winning doesn't make him better . Howie Rosman is an excellent GM and he isn't going to make a silly decision like that

Kubiak will not be Denver’s new OC after all - different ideas about staffing and offensive philosophies.

Close to the Bengals’ HC job according to reliable sources like Rapoport.

Yea I saw that. He was my hope for HC in Denver but I do acknowledge he's a bit green, perhaps an OC role would be the perfect stepping stone but I know that's unrealistic.

Some really interesting matchups. The dogs are taking all the action in Vegas, but I’m not buying the Colts or Eagles.

If I could only watch one it’d be the Chargers @ NE. Dallas/LA will be a huge draw nationally though.

Brian Flores expected to be the new Dolphins HC.

What I think is really interesting this year in the coaching cycle is that there’s so many HCs being selected from a variety of coaching roles e.g not just previous HCs, OCs or DCs. And also, that a lot of those previous HCs who’d usually just be into another job, are having to accept DC or OC roles instead.

Dumping Rosen to then massively overreach to draft Murray #1 would be such a Cardinals move, and would likely fail. I do not see Murray transitioning to the NFL as a Mahomes or Wilson clone like some hope/predict; perhaps I'll be wrong.

Divisional playoff straight predictions: Colts 34-31, Patriots 23-20, Rams 24-20, Saints 31-17
Divisional playoff line* predictions: Colts +5.5, Chargers +4, Cowboys +7, Saints -8

I would not be surprised if the opposite won in any game although I'd be somewhat shocked if Philly won in New Orleans.

In what will be the battle of the strangest voiced QB's, I am going to back the home team with the QB that has a slightly weirder voice.

Colts have a stronger team from top to bottom, with a quality QB to boot. But Mahomes has been on another level to everyone else. I'm backing him in to take to the playoffs.

I'm picking the Colts based on a few things - Chiefs defense is atrocious and gives up 5.1 yards per rush, 132 rushing yards and 273 passing yards per game (all near the bottom of the league); Colts have a solid defense (give up a high completion rate though) and their offense can control the clock; and the Chiefs have lost six straight home playoff games.

It likely will take a Herculean effort by Mahomes to see the Chiefs through today.

I’m also picking Colts.

For me it’s a close game but the things which tip the balance:

Chiefs have a poor secondary but an excellent pass rush. That factor can be negated because they give up a lot of rush yards and the Colts can rush well with Mack. They proved it against the no. 1 rush defence in the league last week.

Means they can then control the clock.
Don’t need to chase yards if they are in manageable positions.

The balance can tip quickly however. If Chiefs start well and make Indy chase the game, then that goes out the window, pass rush becomes a factor then, and Colts may find it hard.

I pick Colts because I think they’ll be able to run effectively and if the chiefs over compensate then Luck can equally torch the secondary through the air.

Not having Hunt is a big factor too. If he was still there I’d tip in favour of the Chiefs. But alas, he’s a moron.

Not really that useful points but:

Chiefs have a terrible record at home in the playoffs. And even worse against the Colts specifically.

Mahomes has lost all prime time games this year...

The only reason it’s close though is because of him, Kelce and Hill. He’s had a phenomenal year and if they did win and Mahomes rolls off a great game, I wouldn’t be that surprised. But without his magic I don’t see fundamentally how the chiefs can keep up.

Probably not great for either team but maybe advantage Indy cuz their O line has a better chance of controlling the game and they do have the better back.

The only thing I was thinking was Kansas probably has more experience of this weather as Indy has a dome. But dunno.

Principally I agree with the post above re: bad weather = good for the team with a better group attack e.g Colts.
Bad weather is generally good for the team with the better rush defence and offence as it will generally negatively impact the passing game. The chiefs are built on their unstoppable passing offence and fearsome pass rush...

My post should say ground attack. Not group.

Thus we agree.
