NFL Thread 2019

Our offence is so bad. Even without the dodgy calls from the ref, we only ever seemed to gain anything when we used trick plays. Massively concerning
We'll have to start depending on the run. Need the O-Line to block better which I'm thinking is much easier than to trying to have the WRs gain separation.

Well, I'm skeptical.

I mean sure, it could have been completely innocent. But with the pats and their past history, shit like this usually leads to confirmation bias for most. They need to be doing everything by the book to avoid scrutiny. Got no sympathy for them myself.

Oh me neither, feck the Pats.

Anyone else watching this HBO documentary about Belichick and Saban? Fascinating seeing the two talk football and how similar they are.

Nobody from the NFC East should be allowed in the playoffs. Embarrassing.

I advocated for this back when Seattle went 7-9, were unjustly rewarded with a home playoff game due to shit rules, and proceeded to knock off the Saints.

I'm of the opinion that a division winner sitting on fewer wins than six other conference foes should not make the playoffs simply by default of being in a shit division. It's the problem with unbalanced schedules and owners/league officials making said rules.

23 yards needed for Lamar to break Vick's all-time rushing record (1,039 yards).

I think I'm gonna get up for the game tonight and watch him, Tucker and the Ravens D/ST power my fantasy team to the Super Bowl  Game might be over at HT though, I wouldn't be surprised if they pull him early in the second half given his quad injury.

Don’t see the Ravens losing again this season

Two teams that scare me most as a Ravens fan, 49ers and Chiefs.

Neither would scare me, if I was a Ravens fan.

49ers, I’d not be scared but of all the teams they are the one who could beat you. They’ve got a solid defence, which has played you once and you would expect to formulate a solid game plan using knowledge from the first game if they had two weeks before the Superbowl. Having said that, in two weeks you guys could add serious wrinkles to your offence. Any play from any playbook is open with Lamar.

Chiefs, as it stands, don’t think stand a chance. They have an explosive offence but unless they had their game of the season, and their defence played out of their skin, I don’t see them even having a chance. And it’s not going through Arrowhead.

I don’t see anyone in the AFC standing in your way. Patriots offence is so poor we have no chance of keeping up, even if BB formulates a master plan against Lamar. Chiefs as above. And no one else is remotely close. On the NFC side, in addition to the 49ers I’d throw in the Saints. If things click for them they could be a tough matchup.

Obviously Ravens inexperience in the playoffs recently might be an issue but I don’t see Lamar being phased at all.

Dropped catches, poor throws - our offense is pathetic.

Seahawks were cruising with a 20 point lead and just 7 minutes left against a terrible QB. So naturally it's a 6 point game with 3 and a bit minutes left. Still only have 1 win by more than 1 score.

It's hard to describe in words just how bad the Eagles are right now. Somehow we are still in control of our destiny

Apparently Cowboys opted to kick after winning the toss which means that Rams will get the ball at the start in both halves . That sums up the NFC East

Stand by my assertion in the beginning of the season that Dak doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the highest paid QB. If I can only pay Zeke or Dak, I'm picking Zeke every time. Cowboys dodged a bullet.

Great catch by Witten.

Jerry will give him a contract, it's inevitable.

I'd not pay Zeke either. Cooper is more valuable and he likely walks due to cap constraints.

Jerry Jones was right . Fans know nothing . The Cowboys will win the Superbowl

NFL needs to throw the book at them. The Pats video guy was so desperate. When the Bengals security guy says "Yah, I don't see the advanced scout in any of this video they're shooting."
