NFL Thread 2014-2015

Excellent drive. Only a FG but they took a lot of time off and it's a 2 possession game now.

Does Peyton have it in him to somehow win this game?

Argh! Couldn't stop them on 4th down.

Actually might've.

Ball turned over on downs! That should be that.

But they're challenging it.

Confirmed. Indy ball.

Peyton will have about 1:55 to do something miraculous....

Superb performance from the Colts. The OL was immense, Luck very good and defense superb. Terrific all round performance.

Peyton was poor. Might be the last we see of him, he's struggled the last month and looked bad and old today. Will be interesting what happens with him.

Denvers play calls this whole game have been bizarre. Still odd to boo your team when they get to the equivalent of quarter finals and lose by 11 points. Why arent they going out of bounds? hahaha.

Also woooooooooo Go Pack Go. That Bryant catch rule is stupid, but dem the rules. Rodgers looked more mobile and more like himself in the second half. He needs to be like that the whole game at Seattle for us to have a chance as our defence wont stop Wilson or Lynch.

Glad Denver lost. Indy were superb today but I fancy our chances against them. Wonder if Belichick has been saving Gray for this game :smirk:

I expect Seattle & New England to win.

Appears as though Denver's window of opportunity with Manning is closing. It was fun while it lasted; glad I'm not there anymore to have to hear groaning over the fallout...

Another successful season, a trip to the playoffs and some records broken. When you consider just how hard it is to win the Superbowl I really can't understand the boos. To think that 3 years ago, Tim Tebow was their quarterback.

I'm not a Manning fan but I hope to see him play one more season. 6-8 weeks ago he was breaking all the records and now they're saying he's finished. I think he has at least one season left in him.

I'm not sure he can hack a full season, that's the problem.

If he carried on another year he'd probably be great for 6 or 7 games then start to burn out.

I don't think he has it in him to go another season. The last 5 games, he's looked very poor and today he looked like a 'normal' QB. Plus with all those free agents, would he want to come back to new guys?

Surely Manning will retire, unless he just wants to pad his regular season statistics some more.

I think Seattle will batter Rodgers and win comfortably but I wouldn't mind a Packers win. New England will end Indy's run.

Congrats to Green Bay for that great game. Wow. What a fecking game it was.

GB only win if our defence shows up and makes some plays especially with Rodgers on one leg for the most part. I believe in Rodgers and our receivers (and Eddie) but our defence is still. bleh.

I'm fearful Seattle's defense will get to Rodgers much more than Dallas managed and he could be severely limited after a few hits, if not knocked from the game. Flynn enters and it's likely over in a rout. Anything can happen on any given Sunday. Dallas will certainly be kicking themselves for losing today (thank you, Murray, for yet another costly fumble, enjoy free agency).

Pretty much this. Win or lose there is work to be done in the offseason, especially on the defensive side of things. Hope we really reinforce it, we did okay this season, better than I expected and its time to build on that.

Game changer tackle by Peppers. That was a certain TD and a huge lead for Dallas, but instead it was a recovery for us (and we got a FG from it).

Denver window is now closed. Even if Peyton comes back, he's not the same, and there is gonna be a huge turnover of players. Doubt both of the Thomas' will be back for one.

That's the thing. Manning's deteriorating rapidly, Welker's totally spent, one of the Thomas' will go and Adam Gase will most likely get a head coaching gig elsewhere.

The window's closed for them.
