NFL Thread 2014-2015

Dream half for Dallas ends in a Luck interception. Very good performance from dem cowboys.

I got vindicated by starting Gerhart (11) over Latavius (10) but Alshon (13) went for more than both DJax (12) and Julio (10). But ODB, who I stashed in both my leagues, has been unreal for me. Has carried my distinctly average PPR team to the championship game. Also, started Hakeem Nicks (16) in my PPR league as a flex over Latavius (14). Although I don't see me winning this league because my QB/TE play has been piss poor since I traded Luck and dropped Rudolph. Ertz went off, which helped but I doubt he does next week.

Chiefs' WRs still don't have a TD this season!! Incredible really.

Scoreless, but this is a good game between Arizona and Seattle.

As it stands right now, Seattle v New England would be a great Super Bowl. Something tells me it wont happen though.

Lynch's run was one of the top runs this year. Those two defenders who tried to strip the ball must regret not having tackled him or pushed him out.

Seen it on SSN, that run was ridiculous!

Might stay up to watch Denver vs Cincinnati tonight - last NFL match I watched was the most recent Super Bowl.

Who's the favourite tonight?

Teehee, 20-7 down.

Edit: wow, 3 touchdowns in 5 second half minutes. 27-21 Bengals. Great game.

Excellent! Now we can take it easy against Buffalo, no need to play all the starters and risk injury.

They can't rest them too much because they've got a bye the following week, which means 3 weeks without football. That's too long. They'll certainly limit the snaps for Gronkowski I'd say. Last time they were in this position, in 2010, they played the starters and blew out the Dolphins 38-7.

Hopefully this makes Amendola a fantasy sleeper for me. Same for the Cowboys/Colts. Hope they rest up and make Terrance Williams/Hakeem Nicks worthy. I'm playing probably the most stacked team in this league so I need to pull out all the stops and hope for some luck. He's got Alshon/Forte and I was hoping to snake his points by picking up Clausen only for him to have a bullshit delayed concussion so now I have to roll with RG3.

Hoping the Pats play a full strength team and try get some rhythm going in the Offense.
Also, Wilfork needs to play. He gets about $2 million if he plays over 70% of the seasons snaps. He's on 70 point something percent right now. He will be pissed if he sits.

Cheeseheads won't get past Seattle in the NFC. Their secondary is awful. And 22nd in rush defense. Lynch will have a field day.

I see trees of green, red roses too, Seattle and New England getting upset, for me and you. The Patriots have lost to the Dolphins and gotten stomped by the Chiefs, both non-playoff teams. They also have narrow wins over the Raiders, Jets, and Jets again. Seattle has losses to 3 non playoff teams and another at home to Dallas.

DVOA actually has Denver number 1 when taking the whole season into account and not far back in third when it is weighted toward more recent results. I would bet against a Seattle New England super bowl matchup. The playoffs are just too unpredictable.

On current form, I don't see anyone stopping Seattle. They're playing like last year: the D has stepped up, Lynch is in beast mode and Wilson's getting things done.

But of course, anything can happen in the playoffs and I'd quite like to see Packers-Pats in the SB.

I'm normally fair-play, but that would be nice to see a DB clatter Odell Beckham jr, i love the player, but he is always talking, taunting or doing something before or after his catches.

I really don't want the Chiefs in the playoffs.. they're boring.

As I type, Houston go in front.

Have any of their WRs managed to catch a TD yet?

Not been able to watch any of the earlier games. Seems the Pats have taken it easy today, although Solder and LaFell may have injuries :(

Battle of suckitude for #1 picks. Tampa intentionally throwing the game away.

No. Bowe's fumbled TD was awarded to Kelce.
