Good defense again.

Brady has 1 more chance....

Its a shame the Pats defense let themselves down on the Stills play. They played some really good stuff.

Where the feck was this tempo earlier in the half?

Game over.

Brilliant drive. Brilliant game. Brilliant Brady!!!

Brady did it with a beautiful throw and terrific drive, but D set up the win.

Good first half, but didn't do anything of note in the 2nd until the excellent final drive. Passing game was largely off (again) and there were too many drops (again). They may be rookies or difficult catches to make but you can't excuse these many drops.

Defense was impressive. Apart from the Stills TD we did a good job to cope with Brees and gave Brady 2 chances to do something, which he finally did on the final drive of the game.

Hopefully Talib's injury is not serious. Really need Gronk back next game and Amendola needs to stay healthy. Edelman looked banged up at the end, hopefully he's ok. Also I think Thompkins needs to be targeted more.

I bet fat-slim Rex had the same reaction

Nice punt return.

Contact with an official = unsportsmanlike conduct

Just seen the highlights. Great game between the pats and the saints.

I know none of you motherfeckers care about the Vikes, but I'm going to rant about them anyway.

What the fecking hell was that? A week where your star player loses a child, decides to play and you give him that? Absolutely pathetic from all parts of the team. The coaching was atrocious. We had a bye week to prepare for this team, and this is what we come up with. Absolutely no creativity, no answer to any of Carolinas weapons, and after being decimated the first half NO feckING HALFTIME ADJUSTMENTS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The coaching staff is basically fired already, but we have to wait for the end of the season. No qualified personel at hand to take over right now. Frazier, Musgrave, Williams - ALL the coaches have to go. D-line coach, O-line coaco, D-backs coach ALL OF THEM. I mean, they actually sit down in coaches meetings and think that it's a good idea to start Josh Robinson in front of Xavier Rhodes just because he's a rookie. Robinson is the most thrown at d-back in the league, and has surrendered the most receptions and the best qb rating to opposing quarterbacks. What the hell is he doing on the field, let alone playing in the nickel? The game plan was useless. What the feck was the idea? Dink and dunk our way to a victory? 3-4 yard passes on 3rd and 19? /(#¤/("#/¤/"%/"¤(%("#(/"/#(%/"¤)"#%/YT"¤Y/"/)PYR%PQ#"(%

Also, my fantasy team tanked like a motherfecker. 3.5 combined points from my WTs (Shorts, Megatron and James Jones). Goddamnit, this was not a good NFL week.

My brother is a huge Vikes fan and he feels the same way as you. He's on RAWK if you two want to a have a bitch-fest! ;)

If I were Peterson, I would want out as soon as possible. He's wasting his prime years there. Imagine him with a team like New England or Green Bay.

Houston should take a look at Vince Young given their QB woes.

This game is boring.

Not so fun fact: Phillip Rivers is 31 & has 6 kids and his wife is expecting their 7th!! Dude gets busy in the offseason.

But now we have Freeman, savior of hope and QB of the future !1!!1#"¤("¤!

Seriously though, I hope he can turn it up. But what I'm afraid of is that he plays ok, has some very good games and some mediocre ones. This leads to the Vikings not drafting a QB and going with Freeman, staying on our mediocre QB carousel foreveeeeeer. This is now our 11th QB since 2006. That said, there are plenty of other areas of the team that need improvement. Our linebackers suck, the secondary couldn't stop Blaine Gabbert at the moment and our pass rush (which is supposed to be a strength) is firing blanks. After last year I had high hopes for this team, but now.. We need another outside CB (Chris Cook is good, but injured half the season), a slot corner (Josh Robinson gets burned every other play), a middle linebacker (Erin Henderson is not a middle linebacker - he can be moved to ILB), a dominant edge rusher and a nose tackle (we have never replaced Pat Williams). And posibly a strong safety to compliment Harrison Smith, one of our few studs. Michael Mauti might be a good middle linebacker, but we will never know because our coaching staff is afraid of playing rookies. If even first round picks like Floyd, Rhodes and Patterson can't get starting snaps, what hope does a 7th rounder have?

Not sure what base defense Minnesota employ but Dallas just released Jay Ratliff. Granted he's been oft-injured the last 2-3 seasons he can play DT in a 4-3 (best suited with a bigger DT next to him) or as a DE in a 3-4 (too small to play NT in 3-4 and this is part reason why a) he was oft-injured in Dallas as they continued to use him at NT, and b) he's more effective as a DE in a 3-4).
