NFL 2024 | Wild Card Weekend

Steelers are going to kill Lamar if he continues to rush on every down. You don't need to put your body on the line so much against a bad team.

Derrick Henry throwing 2 right hooks at the end of that run

If they crash down he goes out. They can no longer crash down anymore so henry can feast.

Fantastic throw on that td

The Steelers offense is so bad that you think they are up against it when they only get 8 yards on 1st down.

Maybe game on. Ravens offense on the side lines are acting like the game is already over.

Nevermind. The Pittsburgh defense on that series deserves to be hung drawn & quartered.

The Steelers finally get something with a 98 yard drive and the Ravens easily answer within 4 plays. That's got to hurt.

Russ can't cook if he's scrambling. Whenever he tries to scramble his eggs he ends up frying them.

The first game had some weirdness to laugh at but all in all not a great day for the neutral. Ravens run game going to be really tough to stop in January

Dunno what you're on about. The first game was class with a load of the most "what the feck are you doing!?" plays you'll ever see.

The playoff first stages are about entertainment. I was entertained.

Pretty comfortable in the end for the Ravens
Never really felt like Steelers had a shot. A good effort in the third quarter but they punted and then ravens took off like half of the 4th quarter on another run heavy drive. Henry and Lamar are just so impressive together. It will be fun to see that team have to come from behind in the playoffs. Being behind to them is just so suffocating

Anyway. Let’s hope for some second half lead changes tomorrow.

Beyond the questions about whether it's Tomlin's fault or not, surely steelers should consider moving on from him just for the fact that maybe it's all gone stale & they could do with some new ideas.

I get both sides of the argument really. Not had a losing season and if he did go on the market a lot of teams would want him. On the other hand we haven’t really competed properly for over a decade, surely that’s not good enough?

It doesn’t help that we’ve never replaced Big Ben. Wilson/Fields was clear from day one they aren’t the answer. RB average. Not enough power at WR. That’s pretty much our limit last night really and as far as we can go. Lamar and the Ravens were very good but they were allowed to be, just a piss poor performance but it’s not a surprise when you look at what we’re working with.

Didn't understand the Chargers game plan on offense - just seemed like they were hell bent on throwing the long ball, even when it was evident it wasn't working.

McConkey 197 yards, he's some talent. 1 or 2 more pieces and Herbert not spewing over himself and they can be a threat next year.

Yeah it seems that some of the lesser heralded WRs have come into the league and been better than the big names. McConkey, and BTJ have been way better than Harrison Jr or Odunze... only Nabers has an argument to being better

Depressed to miss the game due to migraine.

Glad we live in the timeline where the Cowboys fumbled signing King Henry.

I just watched the NFL Hits highlights on Sky, as I wasn't staying up that late and also had a migraine. But that drive must have been quite demoralising for the Steelers, Henry and Lamar just ran all over them.

First time in my life that my wife is actually happy that I'm an NFL addict, now that we have a 10-day old baby to tend to.

"Yeah but honey listen, it's ever so likely that Josh Allen has a W wrapped up after halftime, so if you just let me nap between 8:30 and 10:30, I'll take over from then on until 5am".

Congratulations pal - didn't call them Alvin by any chance did you

Contemplating playing £20 for gamepass for the playoffs so I don’t have to put up with Neil Reynolds.

Great stuff from United, but I really needed that hour gap to make dinner.

I've done it all year - much prefer the pregame coverage, as should be the case to be fair
